How do the main characters feel about moths?

A lot of it depends on how big the moth is…

Forest Slugger (shown here) loves the little guys, but is terrified of the big bois

Sunrise likes them well enough, she doesn’t really think about them

Indigo Glory thinks the big ones are cool

Heart Strings thinks the little ones are cute

Blazing Skies would rather them stay outside

And Nova Galaxy thinks they are important for the environment (other than that, no real opinion)

Introducing the first villain of Fort New Dawn: Commander Thunder Cicada.

An Orc boar who believe that he's doing his god's work by removing the "weeds" (aka, the Alo that was there before him or any other new arrivals) that exist on New Dawn, and a master of insects and arachnids. Which is a little more terrifying knowing that Equinus's invertebrates are quite massive.

I'm not happy with his design or colors quite yet (I fell the same about most the characters in this story), but I think I know how to fix that somewhat. For now, enjoy the first look and Tales of Equinus's first villain

Get ready for the Terra Equus cowboy update, giving Forest a slightly more gritty appearance. Don't worry though, he's still a bit of a scaredy-cat, lol.

This mare is the first native the fort finds in the New World. Little River in the Night, or simply River, as the Crew calls her, was found by Forest during one of his many expeditions. She was under the claws of a dragon, burned, knocked out, and seconds away from being eaten before he saved her. Sadly, half of River's face and right shoulder didn't quite survive the dragon.

When Forest decided to help her, he took her back to Fort New Dawn, which was a good, and a bad thing. Good, because that meant that there were people that knew about New Dawn (the continent), and had survived it's wilderness for who knows how long. Bad, because River couldn't understand a word anyone was saying.

No one knew that anyone lived on New Dawn, not even the explorers who discovered it.

OC question time!

How does Lord Blaze handle the somewhat rugged experience that comes with a new frontier?

Despite what you may think, he loves it. He was a little very unprepared when he first came to the New World, thinking that he'd be able to bring most of his clothing, and trinkets with him. It was a bit of a shock to the system when he was told to "pack light". But you'd be surprised how freeing it is to get rid of a lot of the useless junk you hold on to.

While he's still a connoisseur of the finer things in life, he is more than willing to get down and dirty with the "commoners". Even if he does sound a little condescending when he does it.

Still misses his fancy robes tho

Outside of being Lord Blaze's personal tailor, Heart had always wanted to be a playwriter, it really only took her to pick up everything and move to an unknown continent for her to feel like she finally had a story to tell.
