I got inspired by Scar’s trees, so I attempted to paint one. I then got super frustrated and gave up for a few weeks, and then came back to it. I really tried to push the colors and lines cause I usually paint pretty muted, and I don’t really use line work. Anyway it was hard to photograph cause the blue and the yellow fight each other, and my phone was making them really dull. Sorry for the ramble, I hope to be posting more though!
#I say i’ll post more but that’s really up to the fate of my school work#I promise i love engineering (in a sick twisted kind of way)#gtws fanart#goodtimewithscar fanart#gtwscar#hermitblr#hermitcraft#fanart#art#my art

Some people think the natural numbers should start at zero, and get very worked up about this somehow being the "true", most logical, practical, etc. definition.
Some people think the natural numbers should start at one, and get equally worked up about this being the "true", most logical, most practical, etc. definition.
Unfortunately, to date -- and despite my vigorous letter-writing campaign -- the hidebound reactionaries that comprise the mathematical elite have rejected out of hand my elegant compromise position.
Apparently it "misses the point completely" and "wouldn't make any sense" and "1/2 isn't even an integer".

why is picking a major so hard? i’m between math and electrical/computer engineering, and I could do all three, but i would spend an extra year in college witch i’m not trying to do, but also I can’t pick. really it just comes down to do I want to do math and have fun but don’t know what my job will be, or engineering and have less fun but definitely have a job. I have no clue.
#math is so fun but can’t get paid to do math#why can’t i just major in everything and not have to get a job#or pay tuition#or fees#math#electrical engineering

I know no one cares and I know I'm just going back into my phase from middle school but roman roads!! are so cool! They had a whole system to make them fast, and a lot of them are still here today! And I know it's cause they didn't have a ton of cars driving over them all the time but still! It's pretty impressive.
#This fixation has come back so hard I almost signed up for latin classes at my college again#Not hard enough though#I do not miss latin class one bit

fun fact about roman aqueducts: the city of roman had 11 different aqueduct systems to bring fresh water into the city!
