Taylor looked back at the people dancing not too far from them, she could still feel Jai’s eyes on her though, deep down it was a little flattering that he wasn’t staring at someone else’s ass like she’d assume he would be doing. But she pretended not to notice. “I think dive bars have character...and lots of old drunks, mostly old drunks.” She joked with a flirtatious giggle, looking back at him. Turning towards the bar again Taylor scoffed loudly, loud enough to be heard over the music. She grabbed a hold of the shots as they came and raised an eyebrow. “I don’t know, can you handle it, pretty boy?” She asked in a challenging tone, raising her first shot glass.
A Little Bit Crazy || Taylor & Jai
Jai, being the very perspective person he was, could usually tell within minutes of meeting someone if they were interested in him or not. With Taylor it was different, Jai could tell that she probably found him pretentious, yet she didn’t blow him off – in his eyes, he still had a chance. “I know there aren’t many choices in this town on where to go, but I think we both made the right choice in choosing this over a shitty dive bar,” he replied with a shrug and a smile. He knew he had to tone it down a little, but he was so wildly attracted to the blonde that it made that task a little more difficult. “Awesome,” he said, motioning for the very busy bartender to come over. Jai came to this club so often that he recognized nearly all of the staff at this point and was sure they probably knew him as money bags with how much money he spent on drinks. Different girls, different night and the same Jai.. but, who were they to judge? “Start us off with a round of tequila shots and–” Jai looked over and noticed the girl’s body language changing to one of a more flirtatious nature, a small smile appearing on his face before he spoke again, “and some whiskey shots.” His eyes didn’t leave her for a bit, admiring how truly hypnotizing she looked under the flashing lights of the club. “I’m sure you can handle it, right?” His tone of voice might’ve been slightly suggestive, but when was it not?

With the pretty girl comment she rolled her eyes, he was attempting to play her much more than previously thought. Taylor sat down on the bar stool Jai had pulled out for her and wondered if there was any way now she could take his drinks and then go dance, minus the huge douche nozzle. “Um, once in a while.” She said and shrugged, usually only when her day was going to shit, if she was being honest. “Shots sounds good.” Taylor said and crossed her legs on the stool, facing him. She was never one to back down to the challenge of shots. She twirled a piece of her  hair, leaning on the table. Attempting to flirt, trying to get the best quality shots out of him.
A Little Bit Crazy || Taylor & Jai
Jai nodded at her response, not really into the whole small talk thing. He wasn’t the type of guy that wanted to relate to the women he wanted to hook up with, but knew sometimes that was just what he had to pretend. There was a feeling of relief when she agreed to have a drink with him, a smile appearing on his face. “That’s what I like to hear. A pretty girl shouldn’t be paying for her own drinks, anyway,” he quickly chimed in. “You could say that. There really isn’t ever shit to do in this town and this place just feels.. more alive than anywhere around here,” he responded with a shrug. “What about you?” He asked the girl, sitting down at the bar and pulling out a seat for the girl beside him. Their casual conversation was interrupted by the bartender with the intention of taking their order.  He looked over at the girl, “want anything in particular or do you want to just do some shots?” Jai’s eyes watched the girl, a playful grin on his face following his question.

Taylor wanted to roll her eyes but she didn’t, she was still sure that if she played her cards right she could drink for free all night. She moved some of her hair behind her ear as she listened to Jai. “Yep, totally get ya.” She said, not at all getting him, she hated the shithole that was her hometown, she just had nowhere else to go. Sometimes she thought about leaving, but where would she go, and where would she live? “If it’s on you, then of course.” She giggled, impressing herself with how much she was working this angle, of being every other girl who was in love with him, just because he was beautiful and rich. “Do you come here a lot?” She asked, as they headed over towards the bar.
A Little Bit Crazy || Taylor & Jai
Although he couldn’t put a name to her face right away, Jai couldn’t help but smile at the girl noticing him. He was always a bit of an asshole in school, and although his personality hadn’t changed too drastically in recent years, he liked to think he was a bit better at concealing it. “Taylor,” he repeated with a nod. “I guess being a grade below me explained why we didn’t hang out in high school. I would’ve definitely enjoyed seeing you around more,” he replied with a smile. He had a manipulative way to him that could convince people who didn’t know him that he was a sincerely nice guy rather than the horny asshole he knew he was. Although, there was some true sentiment behind his words – he found her absolutely intoxicating  under the colorful flashing lights. “Still here. It’s home, ya know?” Jai said with a light shrug of his shoulders, his eyes darting from the bar and then back to the blonde. “Do you want something to drink? It’s on me.”

She realized who he was immediately after he spoke. Of course, she had seen him around in high school, but hadn’t really ever had a class with him, or maybe even spoke to him before. He was just one of those guys everyone did know. The type her friends said they’d like totally bang even if he was a giant douche. Suddenly she was fifteen again. She rolled her eyes, even if he was right, everyone did probably know him. Everyone who graduated within four years of him knew something about him. She knew his name before he introduced himself, but she doubted he would know her’s. “Taylor.” She smirked up at him, the lights flashing behind him gave almost a dizzying effect. She never knew what her friends saw in him, he just seemed like another asshole, and she had plenty of those in high school. “I was a grade below you.” She said, then mentally face palmed, what a stupid thing to say. “ I didn’t know you were still in town.”
A Little Bit Crazy || Taylor & Jai
This weekend night wasn’t any different than Jai’s usual weekends or even most weekdays. He had been particularly into the club scene as of late and there was nothing he enjoyed doing more than getting drunk and going absolutely crazy in one way or another. It wasn’t exactly uncommon for him to wake up with a strange girl in his bed and it gave him something to talk about with his buddies. The club was busy and crowded, making maneuvering to the other side quite the challenge as every step he took it felt like he was being ping-ponged around. His drink was running low and he wanted to get to the bar, but knew that would be a journey in itself. As crazy as it was, this was his scene and he genuinely enjoyed watching girls in skimpy outfits get hit on by guys who looked petrified during their encounter.  If Jai had it his way, he genuinely believed he could pick any of them up if he wanted to, but he also liked to think that he could be picky and only take home the best he could find. He was dancing through the crowd when he suddenly felt himself collide with someone, making him glad that his glass was empty.  “Jesus Christ,” he said, obviously frustrated. His face softened a little when he looked up and noticed what was a slightly familiar face. “Everyone knows me from somewhere,” Jai replied with an arrogant smirk before chuckling softly. “But you’re right. I think we might’ve went to high school together or something.” Her face brought back very vague memories. She was attractive and he definitely eyed her once or twice back in school, but at the end of the day they rolled in completely different circles. “I’m Jai,” he said, giving her a smile and subtly eyeing her from head to toe.

A Little Bit Crazy || Taylor & Jai
To say Taylor had a rough night may have been the understatement of the century. It started at 8 this morning, when she woke up late for her retail job, and then upon arriving, was fired. It continued with the fact, that that meant she couldn’t really afford to pay to keep living on a friend’s couch. Her dad was in worse shape than ever, and she thought it might be maybe two days before said ‘friend’ would realize she had no money, and Taylor would be back to living in her car. So, she did what any reasonable twenty-one-year-old would do. She decided to get white girl wasted. And since she was doing pretty good for herself, physically speaking, she more than likely didn’t need to buy herself a single drink. She was let in easily, as she always was, into the crowded, loud and sweaty club, and boy did it stink like a ballsack. But soon, she would be blissfully drunk, and beautifully unaware. Her first drink came within her first five minutes, others followed. She decided to hit the dance floor. Taylor wasn’t a great dancer, but she did have the whole grinding thing down, and the rhythmically jumping part too. Drink in hand she danced, until someone completely knocked into her. “Hey asshole!” She started than looked at the familiar face. “Wait a second, I know you from somewhere” She thought out loud.

Thanks, I... actually came back with some news, I got engaged two weeks ago, and I wanted to tell you guys in person.
Don't you just love when the power goes out?
I know. I know it was hard. We both understand. Besides, everyone had to grow up- yours just wasn’t meant to be done here.

I stayed around as long as I could... between that and Des and the fact that people were going somewhere with their lives and I wasn't it drove me crazy, I didn't know how I could survive any longer in this town.
Don't you just love when the power goes out?
I understood. I still do. It was hard to be around for you, I understand that. Scarlett’s been a really big help in all of this, though. Very supportive.

Awesome, I'm gonna need some of that. How are you, sweetest Marisol?
Don't you just love when the power goes out?
Well, that’s probably good, because we’ve got our own booze to bestow!

First of all my cats are perfect, and I didn't want to put them and Neeko on a long ass flight. And second who says I came to visit you? I mean I did but who says.
Don't you just love when the power goes out?
I appreciate you coming to visit, but you could have brought your cats with you even though I hate them. :)
