Random Headcanon's about: ☆Fredrinn Vance☆
I will be updating this post everytime when a new hc comes to my mind!
Please remember these are my headcanon's, I will be adding information about canon stuff too.

Thank you for reading!
Headcanon about his relations with his family;
-People who are brave has at least one supportive family member, so I'm guessing that maybe Fredrinn's mom was supportive to him as much as she can but her strict husband Duke Vance was really angry at this situation.
And we know from Harley's lore that Duchess Vance passed away when Harley was really young, so I want to think that Fredrinn left the castle when their mom passed away, so that's why Fredrinn has no voice lines for Harley, he left the house when Harley was so young, that's when their mother died.
Fredrinn also knows Lesley, so it makes this scenario more accurate, Fredrinn stayed in the castle for a bit after Lesley joined the family but directly run away cause when his mother died because Duke Vance had the chance to send him to the Monestry of Light. I guess Duchess Vance was the only one who was againts sending Fredrinn to there, she was the only one who was not letting Duke Vance send him to the Monestry of Light.
Random hc's;
I really think that he would love incense so much, even in his comic you can see him having those;

He has a lot of those special scents, he picks the ones he likes and I bet it smells nice and I'm sure he knows a lot about the it, inside his shop would smell so nice all the time.
Fredrinn sure likes to visit antique shop's a lot, since Los Pecados is known for being the old Moniyan Empire and there's still many Moniyan people who continues their lifes and their jobs, I think there will be at least few nice shops.
I bet there's specific shops that Fredrinn likes to visit and buy stuff from, he's a regular customer for them and he also likes to chat with them too, probably calls them "the only sane people in this doomed city"
Fredrinn is not the type of guy who's gonna care about romance, I think when he had Fray he only went to adventures but no romance, maybe a few flirting with some people.
he always flirts with his loved ones, all the time, that's his language no matter what, friend or lover.
I also think he's actually like a little kid who likes to adventure, discover and acts so energetic when he's with the people he loves. He's like the little kid who will fall down but will get up and just laugh and will tell you "watch what I can do" and he will do the most dangerous thing you ever witnessed, yeah, that's his personality.
I think Fredrinn is so good at reading people's personalities, he can get into people's blood so easily, he can understand what they like and don't like it's telling each animals name, that's why he's so dangerous, he's a smart men.
I don't think he likes to talk about religious topics, he just doesn't likes to talk about it, he finds it annoying and boring, he will tell you ; "I got more important things to worry about...and also, look at those people in the Moniyan who waits for the Lord of Light to save them when they're the ones who made all the mess...do you think these people are 'okay" to begin with? Be honest."
He's not a person who runs after attaractive womans...I hate it when the fandom says that, just because he's a little sassy doesn't means he gonna hit on everybody...y'all please are we looking at the same character? He's a men from a royal family, look at Lancelot,Eren and Aamon, look at how they behave, even Gusion, look at how he behaved around Lesley, please....PLEASEEE STOP THIS MADNESS I CAN'T WITH THIS STUPIDITY ANYMOREEE I CAN'TTT
He would hate Aamon, even call him a 'coward' because of how Aamon literally wasted all his life working for his family and the Moniyan Empire."He wasted his youth, no, all his life. He never fought for his own freedom, he's just a slave and nothing more, we know what's actually going on in that family, nothing but full of lies." Their lifestyles, ideologies are the opposite from each other, they're both the heirs of their family, but different choices. Also Gusion is like a similar version of Fredrinn if you look at it lmao
Like I said I will be updating this post everytime when I get a new idea, thank you for reading this far! Take care of yourself! <3💞🌷

Hearts. Chocolates. Giggles
synpss: mlbb men and woman matches valentine skins with you. gn!reader, fluff, valentine's day (matching couple) skins
ft: gusion, fredrinn, claude, hayabusa, beatrix, ling, moskov, hanzo
Oh, he’d be smug about it, no doubt.
Gusion brushes his fingers along the hem of your neck, making you flush red. “Sweet Valentine,” he chuckles, stealing a glance at his own outfit then back at your eyes, “A couple's look, huh? Don't mind if we do.”
He's immediately on the battlefield, stepping up his game, and earning kills over kills. All at the same time, flawlessly flexing his skin and going full on carry mode just to make sure the matching outfits don't go to waste.
“I bet our combo would be better due to our outfits. Y’up for practice?”
He’d pretend to be less interested, but if you push a little, Fredrinn would shrug and say, "Fine. But don’t expect me to start acting all sweet and romantic..."
If the skin is elegant and stylish, he might actually enjoy it. If it’s too pink or cutesy, expect him to complain nonstop—but still wear it anyway.
He’d flex it in-game but in a way that seems effortless. "Look at us, turning heads already. Try to keep up, will you?"
If you get attacked in-game, he’d immediately charge in and tank the damage like it’s personal.
Matching with Claude makes you think you have your own child. Because if he has matching outfits with you, then Dexter must have one too.
In the battlefield, Claude will be so giddy the whole game, flexing the skin because he's in love with the effortlessly shining outfit. But will often be ruined by a certain monkey when it notices he's hogging up all your attention again.
“Hey—! Dexter, stop that! They're not matching with you, I am!” But either way, you'd be smiling and giggling about their bickering and he'd be happy he made you smile.
Hayabusa would be so awkward about it. Wearing a matching couple skin would destroy his cool image. If you tease him, expect him to stumble over his words like, "I-It’s just a skin, alright?"
The moment you two appear in-game, he’s so focused on proving himself just so no one thinks he’s getting soft. But really? He kind of likes how it makes you both look like a well-made team almost like a couple. It makes him all warm inside that someone is on par with his skills.
If an enemy assassin rival sees it and taunts him? He’s diving straight into battle just to prove he’s still a menacing threat. He did.
Beatrix is a wild card. But someone to match that wildness needs a lot of work.
She'd be disappointed when you stressed that you wanted to play along with her as well but the enemies would just be afraid to approach you in fear of angering that one raging marksman.
The matching outfits seem like a mark of territory. The enemies just knew who not to mess with. But you'd scold her at the end of the game and she'll sulk before reluctantly letting you play normally the next game. She decides to just cheer you instead of camping in someone–
“Great job, sweets!! S’proud of you!!”
Ling would act indifferent at first but deep down, he's so flustered. Like him? And you? Ah, finally.
If the skins are elegant, he might play along. If they are overly romantic, he'd be so grumpy about it—but until he sees how good you look in it, he'd be often distracted during the game. Although he did carry early to mid game but expect him to disappear mid-game out of embarrassment due to those distractions. NWJS
“Sorry, it was so… uh, laggy. Yeah. But you look good in that…”
He's wearing it with zero emotion but actually, Moskov is really enjoying it.
He'd often stare at you from afar and when he was caught, he'd outright deny it, saying, “Just curious about the outfit.” Curious my ass. He's basically watching you like a hawk.
But if someone says anything about it—especially the enemies, they're getting speared immediately.
The moment you suggest matching Valentine’s skins, Hanzo would scoff. “Tch. Sentimental nonsense.”
But if you somehow convince him (or if you wear yours first and guilt-trip him), he’ll put it on begrudgingly. Expect him to act like he doesn’t care but absolutely refuse to take it off once it’s on. HAHA
His demon self would make it worse. Imagine his shadowy Oni teasing him like, “How romantic~” just to mess with him.
If an enemy assassin comments on it, he might go full rage mode out of embarrassment. Secretly, he enjoys how it makes him feel like someone was eager to match with him—but he’ll never admit it.
P.s. sorry guyss, my schedule yesterday was so packed!!

𝐇𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐀, 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐍, 𝐆𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍, 𝐋𝐄𝐎𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐃, 𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐄, 𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆
FLUFF, GN!READER, DRABBLES
synopsis: celebrating the new year together with them.
Hayabusa gives you a warm smile as his hand slips behind you, guiding you through the lantern-lit path in the village after the festivities. For now, it's just the two of you.
He invites you to join him for Kakizome, carefully grinding the ink stone before writing the kanji on a sheet of washi paper. As you watch in quiet curiosity, you finally ask, "What did you wish for?"
He glances up at you with a soft smile. “That one day you’ll not just be my partner anymore… that one day, you’ll officially be mine.”
Fredrinn brings you to his favorite tavern, where the atmosphere wraps around the two of you like an embrace. “Crowds aren’t my thing,” he murmurs, gesturing around the space, “but this—” his eyes linger on you for a second—“this feels like home.”
As the clock strikes midnight, he leans closer, gently tucking a stray strand of hair behind your ear. “Happy New Year, darling.”
He clinks his glass against yours as the warmth of his words hang in the air.
Gusion leads you to a secluded hill, far from the noisy crowds but still a perfect view of the village. The chilly air hits your skin, but before you can shiver, he offers his coat over your shoulders.
“You deserve the best view, sweetheart,” he murmurs, his voice soft yet steady. As the fireworks light up the sky, you can feel his gaze on you as if you're more captivating than the display above.
“Happy New Year,” he whispers before pulling you into a kiss.
Leomord invites you to the courtyard of his castle, where soft music fills the air. The moon casts a silver glow on his armor as he steps toward you as he bowed slightly and offered his hand. “May I have this dance to start the year with you, darling?” he asks with his formal tone softened by the tenderness in his eyes.
He leads you gracefully through a waltz, his movements steady and precise. As the final bell of midnight chimes, he pauses, lifting your hand to brush a gentle kiss against your knuckles.
“Happy New Year,” he says with a rare smile. “This… is the beginning of something eternal.”
Guinevere’s laughter fills the grand hall as she whirls you onto the dance floor of a New Year’s ball she’s prepared just for the two of you. Her energy is contagious and you can’t help but laugh along as she twirls and spins you to the music.
“This is how we welcome the New Year—with style!” she exclaims as her eyes shine. As the countdown reaches its end, she pulls you close, her cheeks flushed from champagne and dancing.
“Happy New Year!” she beams before brushing a quick and bold kiss to your lips, leaving you flushed and breathless.
Ling leads you to the highest rooftop, the world sprawling beneath your feet. He smirks, his usual cocky demeanor softened by the view. “I wanted us to start the year on top,” he jokes.
As fireworks erupt in the distance, painting the night sky with bursts of light, he wraps an arm around you. “I would’ve stared at the fireworks,” he says softly, his voice lowering as he looks at you.
“But you’re an even more breathtaking sight.”

April 13, Xi'an, China, Shaanxi Archaeology Museum/陕西考古博物馆 (Part 1 - Neolithic to pre-Qin dynasty):
Unfortunately I was not able to acquire tickets to the Shaanxi History Museum/陕西历史博物馆, which is one of my biggest regrets from this entire trip, because Shaanxi History Museum is the provincial-level museum, it has a lot more artifacts. Xi’an is the capital city of Shaanxi Province, so it has both the city-level museum and the provincial-level museum; the one I posted about previously, Xi’an museum, is just the city-level museum.
But fortunately Xi’an has a quite a few history museums, which makes sense considering the city’s very long history, so on we go to the Shaanxi Archaeology Museum:

For the longest time I also thought archaeology was a very European thing, but actually? It did also exist in ancient China. The word guxue/古学 (lit. “Antiquity Studies”) existed as early as Eastern Han dynasty (25 - 220 AD), and by Song dynasty (960 - 1279 AD), kaoguxue/考古学/archaeology was pretty well known. Sidenote: the word 考古学 may not mean exactly the same thing as archaeology in Song dynasty, but today it just means archaeology. Below is the Song-era kaoguxue work named 《考古图》 (this book on display was printed in Qing dynasty, judging by the cover):

Compare the above with the notes of a modern archaeologist:

A collection of interesting Neolithic era pottery artifacts with various faces on them. Some are from Yangshao culture/仰韶文化 (5000 - 2700 BC). I swear you can make reaction pics out of these lol

They even have these refrigerator magnet souvenirs lol

Is that a pottery piggy on the right? This piggy looks oddly familiar…

Which reminds me of this other pottery pig found near the Sanxingdui/三星堆 site (Picture from Douyin user 姜丝炒土豆丝). Looks very familiar indeed lol
A pottery drum reminiscent of an udu drum. The one in the front is a replica that visitors can try out

Left: a pottery artifact with a frog face on it. Right: a pottery tiger I think? Not sure.

Shang dynasty (1600 - 1046 BC) jade dragon:

Carved stone bricks from the neolithic site of Shimao/石 (~2000 BC). These were originally found in the outer walls of the site, which is why they are presented this way:

Mouth harp artifacts from Shimao culture (top one is a modern one, for comparison). There’s also a map on the many variations of mouth harps from cultures around the world, which is really cool:

Fragments of bone flutes. These were flutes fashioned from crane bones, the most famous of which were the intact flutes unearthed from the Jiahu/贾湖 site dating back to 7000 - 5700 BC, and they were still playable (first link is the 1999 Nature article regarding this discovery, second link goes to a recording of a modern musician playing the song 小白菜 on one of these bone flutes)

A Western Zhou dynasty (1046 – 771 BC) bone hairpin. There were quite a few hairpins in the exhibition, but this is my fav:

And now comes the really cool stuff: oracle/divination bones. Oracle/divination bones were animal bones that ancient Chinese people (mostly of Shang-era) used for divination. These bones have holes drilled into them in a pattern and have oracle bone script/jiaguwen/甲骨文 carved into them (the carved text consists of questions presented to the gods), and then they were heated slowly over a fire until the bone starts to crack. A priest or priestess would then interpret these cracks, as they were seen as answers from the gods, and record the answer on the bone. Sometimes these bones were used purely as records for important events:

Since oracle bone script is the oldest form of Chinese written language, it is possible to decipher the text carved onto these bones:

April 14, Xi'an, China, Shaanxi History Museum, Qin and Han Dynasties Branch (Part 1 - Political Structure, Laws, and Military):
This was the final museum I went to while in Xi'an, and despite its name, it is not the Shaanxi History Museum/陕西历史博物馆. It is a new branch that's in a separate location from the main museum, so it's also referred to as the "Qin/Han Branch"/秦汉馆 (ugh I wish I could've gone to the main branch), and the museum building and its gates were supposed to imitate the look of Qin/Han-era palaces. It was raining cats and dogs the night before, so the ground still bear traces of that. I had fun though.

This museum doesn't have a lot of unique artifacts that other museums don't have, but instead focuses on the political structure, thought, life, and technologies from Qin and Han dynasties, so there were a lot of tables, maps, and diagrams in the museum. I will only be giving a brief summary of each thing here so these posts won't get too long (and take too much effort to make). If you understand Chinese though, these may be helpful worldbuilding references.
First is a rough timeline of the history Qin dynasty (221 - 207 BC) to Han dynasty (202 BC - 220 AD) (right side of timeline) and how it fits within the overall ancient world history (left side of timeline) in the same time frame, just as a general reference so museum visitors can have an idea of when these dynasties and events took place. The timeline included events starting from when Qin was still a state (Warring States period, 476 - 221 BC) until after the end of Han dynasty (Three Kingdoms period, 220 - 280 AD; and Western Jin dynasty, 265 - 317 AD). Here, 公元元年 means 1 CE/AD, so 公元前 means BCE/BC, and 公元 means CE/AD. Also I know the left side is hard to read, sorry about that, it was easier to read in person. There is a key at the bottom though:

A diagram of the Three Lords and Nine Ministers system (三公九卿制) that was used as the central political structure of ancient China during Qin and Han dynasties, which was replaced by the Three Departments and Six Ministries system (三省六部制) in Sui dynasty (581 - 618 AD). There are many translations for the same positions, here I used what I think fits best for each position.
The Three Lords/三公 are (left to right on chart) : the Imperial Secretary/御史大夫 (handles the audit system and helps the chancellor), the Chancellor/丞相 (helps emperor handle national political affairs), and the Grand Commandant/太尉 (helps emperor handle military affairs).
The Nine Ministers/九卿 are (left to right): the Minister of Finance/治粟内史 (oversees public finance and tax system), the Minister of the Imperial Clan/宗正 (handles affairs within imperial clan), the Grand Herald/典客 (handles foreign policy), the Minister of the Guards/卫尉 (controls imperial guards), the Minister of Justice/廷尉 (oversees judicial system), the Minister of Attendants/郎中令 (controls palace guards, oversees imperial household, serves as imperial advisor, etc.), the Minister Coachman/太仆 (oversees the care, training, use, and purchase of horses; horses were an important resource in ancient times), the Lesser Treasurer/少府 (oversees the emperor's personal finances and some taxes), and the Minister of Ceremonies/奉常 (handles official ceremonies, worship, and rituals, oversees court astrologers and court scribes/historians).

Qin and Han dynasty bureacratic systems. Right is Qin dynasty's system of commanderies/郡, counties/县, townships/乡, and villages/里 (levels of local government from highest to lowest). Left is Han dynasty's central government system, which designated the Three Lords and Nine Ministers system as the Outer Court/外朝 (executes policies), and added a Central Court/中朝 (decides policies).

A list of the 48 commanderies during Qin dynasty and their locations today, grouped by where they were located before Qin dynasty (for example 7 of these groups were states during the Warring States period). A few of the names of these commanderies continue to be place names today, and some others often make appearances in modern novels.

The Recommendatory System/察举制 of Han dynasty, which was how officials were selected. Basically this process consists of a few steps: first the emperor would set what categories of talents are needed, then local government would recommend people to the central government accordingly. The emperor would ask the recommendees how they would deal with current issues, and then gave them positions based on how good their policy ideas were. Ideally the local officials would be impartial with recommendations, but in reality the local officials often belonged to powerful local clans, so these recommendations gradually became a way for the powerful clans to stay in power. This system was replaced by the Imperial Examination System/科举制 in later dynasties, which put more emphasis on exams as a way to select talents.

The locations of Qin and Han dynasty national temples, sacred mountains, and sacred bodies of water on a modern map. Of these, the temples marked in yellow were the temples dedicated to eight deities worshipped by the state of Qi, so they are collectively called the Eight Deities of Qi/齐地八神. Although the state of Qin eventually defeated the state of Qi, worship of these deities continued through Qin dynasty into Han dynasty. The temples marked in red were dedicated to deities worshipped by the state of Qin. The temples marked in purple were temples built in Han dynasty. The sacred waters are marked with wavy lines. The sacred mountains are marked in light blue-gray (a few are outside of this picture). MDZS fans may recognize Qishan/岐山 on this map, and Three Kingdoms enthusiasts may recognize jieshishan/碣石山 as the place Cao Cao visited when he wrote the line "东临碣石,以观沧海" in his famous poem.

Replicas of a small part of the Qin-era bamboo texts found in a tomb of a Qin dynasty official at Shuihudi (睡虎地秦简). The originals are at Hubei Provincial Museum/湖北省博物馆. Many of these texts concern laws and decrees of Qin dynasty, and in another tomb in the same area there were also the oldest letters ever found in China (link goes to the full digitized text). These bamboo slips are meant to read from top to bottom, right to left, and the construction of bamboo scrolls are actually the very reason why Chinese texts read this way traditionally even on printed texts during later dynasties.

This was something I'd written about in the MDZS posts a few years ago, and now I've finally seen the real thing with my own eyes: the Tiger Tally/虎符 (I translated it as "Tiger Amulet" in that post but in fact "Tally" is the correct translation). Tiger tallys have two halves, each with gilded gold text upon them. This particular artifact is the left half of a tiger tally from late Warring States period (state of Qin), and reads:
"This is a tally of the armed forces, right half goes to the ruler of Qin, left half goes to (the official of) Du county. When the need to dispatch armored troops of over 50 soldiers arises, this half must find the other half held by the ruler in order to authorize this military activity. In case of emergency, there is no need to wait for this authorization." (“兵甲之符,右才君,左才杜。凡兴士披甲用兵五十人以上,必会君符,乃敢行之。燔燧之事,虽毋会符,行殹。”)

The different currencies (coins) of the states of Warring States period:

The different coins and coin molds during Qin and Han dynasties:

Left: Han dynasty disk-shaped gold ingots; these were rare currencies at the time and were mainly exchanged between the imperial family and nobility as gifts. Right: a standard weight from Qin dynasty that reads "weighs 30 jin/斤". Since Qin dynasty unified systems of measurements, and this weight is known to weigh 7.5 kg, we can easily convert the Qin-era jin to the modern kg (1 Qin-era jin = 0.25 kg).

Terra cotta soldier and horse from Qin Shihuang's mausoleum. As some people have pointed out, these terra cotta soldiers were fully painted and colorful when they were first excavated, but when exposed to air, the paint quickly peeled and the colors faded, leaving the sculptures in their familiar clay-color. Few of these sculptures still have their original colors intact, thanks to preservation efforts. The immense difficulty of preservation is also a reason why modern Chinese archaeology has that rule of "don't excavate unless absolutely necessary".

A Qin-era bronze jian/剑 (double-edged straight sword) from Qin Shihuang's mausoleum:

Left: Qin-era bronze spear heads and a pi/铍 head (on the right; pi is a type of ancient Chinese polearm). Right: Han-era ring-pommel dao/环首刀 (dao is a single-edged sword that can be straight or curved; interestingly, many ring-pommel dao artifacts exhibit a forward curve). Ring-pommel dao continued to be used in the military after Han dynasty.

A suit of armor made out of stone from Qin Shihuang's mausoleum. These armor sets weigh about 18 kg or 39.7 lbs each, which is........actually not too bad. There are specialized armor sets in later dynasties that can weigh 30 kg or 66 lbs.
