the cognitive dissonance from people who want the products of modern medicine but get weird about animal research. like im sorry but this is necessary for the survival of the society we currently live in. and the scientists who work on these things are not evil cackling psychopaths. anyone you talk to in animal research has incredibly complex feelings about their work and incredibly complex relationships to the animals in their care. there are regulations and oversight and penalties in place to make the work as humane as possible and scientists are overwhelmingly the ones enforcing and advocating for better care.

I have never seen the likes of this double octagonal dome, mid century modern, Shagadelic style house. It's a true time capsule. 1972 build in Mosheim, TN has 3bds, 3ba, 1,802 sq ft, $285k.
This looks like the entrance foyer in the middle of the 2 domes.
Look at the ceiling.
So, this must be the living room. It's an unusual shape and has one of those typically late-MCM fireplaces on the wall. The walls look like a rough simulated stone and look at the powdery stuff on the floor by the door.
Well, this is certainly an interesting living room.
I'm not sure if this is a dining room or a bedroom b/c they all look about the same.
The kitchen has an entrance from the garage. Convenient for bringing groceries in.
Oh, look, an original bronze dishwasher.
This must be the other dome that has the bedrooms. It's on the other side of the entrance hall.
This is a bedroom with an ensuite and sliders to the patio.
Wow, this bath is a real throwback.
Bd. #2 has a cool retro lamp.
It's difficult to fit plumbing fixtures into homes with curved walls.
Bd. #3 looks like it has an intercom on the wall. And, it also has a retro light fixture.
I didn't expect a basement, but there are 2 rooms down here.
This looks like an extra bedroom with a private entrance.
A utility room and there appears to also be a shower down here.
The garage.
The house looks nicer from this angle.
There's a lot of land for a pool, etc.
1.62 acre lot
