The lime helps to collect dirt in the rain water and is still used today... The Trans World Airlines (TWA) Terminal in New York. Designed by Finish designer Eero Saarinen and opened in 1962, this New York landmark ushered in the "Jet Age" and set a standard for modern airport design. For me, this was a strange highlight from my trip. Something about the Futurist design and how terminal is made to look like a giant bird with large wings, I just love it. Interesting facts: this termal is where the NFL New York JETS get their name. As the civic focal point for 'Moscow City' pointing towards Red Square, Evolution Tower is a symbolic expression for the city and the people of Moscow. Moscow City Series 2 of 3 City of Capitals. The City of Capitals building reminds me of blocks and Lego I would stack as a child. . Symbolically City of Capitals is constructed with two towers - "Moscow Tower" (76-floors) and "St. Petersburg Tower" (65-floors). It is the first super-tall skyscraper in Europe. .
