In Darin’s episode, Mulder goes sasquatch hunting in a ghillie suit, which doesn’t seem romantic. Although, I think it is quite charming and romantic.
I think she likes that about her Mulder.

“One of the most important things I learned from my time on The X-Files was that you can’t be smart enough for your audience. That no matter how smart you think you are, they are smarter still. And it’s amazing how many really smart writers don’t write television as smart as they themselves are because someone supporting them thinks it’s not a good idea. We’re all such sophisticated television viewers, we’ve seen thousands of hours of dramas. It’s very hard to get ahead of the viewers, to surprise them. And they don’t see any reason to even try. I want to start a conversation with my viewers. I was very lucky that the popularity of The X-Files came about just as the internet was expanding, and every week we could see how the audience was responding to the show online. I was able to see just how observant people were; how subtle they were in their observations. That made a deep impression on me that lasts to this day.”

"I don’t want to be maudlin about it, but really I feel… I think about when I’m gone and I think about my kids, and I always think, “If they want to know what I was like as an adult,” because they’re close to being adults, and hopefully I’ll live long enough for them to get to know me. They could read the books, and they could really get in my head and in my heart.
Seeing me perform is one thing. You can get a sense of me, whatever. You can be in my presence probably more immediately by watching something. I’m thinking of my kids again. But if you really wanted to know who I was, just pulp these books, and make a shake out of them, and swallow it down. They’d know me. I think that’s a gift from me to them in a way."

Times David had no chill: Gillian edition 👀
January 2016
While recording the DVD commentary for MASMTWM (later released in June), David doesn’t hold back. At all.
This brought us gems such as....
“Mmm...rawr.”
And:
D: “I thought you were going to tell me ‘Why don’t you go run a bath? I’ll be right in.”
G: (laughs uncontrollably)
And:
“Cute. Cute on the bed there.”
And:
G:” Those trousers are just a little too tight on me. How vain am I?”
D: “Well it’s the first time seeing it. Thats what you’re going to see.”
G: “Yeah.”
(Pause)
D: “I was also looking at your tight trousers.”
Both laugh.

The greatest verse of the Bible is John 3:16.
“God” — The greatest person "so loved" — The greatest act "the world" — The greatest number of people "that he gave" — The greatest activity "His only Son" — The greatest gift "that whosoever believes" — The greatest condition "in Him" — The greatest object of faith "may not perish" — The greatest mercy "but have life forever" — The greatest reward.
