It left her feeling like a hollow, lifeless husk, who only existed to do everything Ren had told her to.

Another call, and the short woman rushed to enter his quarters— what did he need this time? Caramel strands of hair were messy, disheveled from a rough night of sleep, and her clothes were thrown on in the rush.

Flustered and urgent, the woman stood up straight. “What is it, sir?” She asked quickly, saluting before standing straight and tense once more.
