I don't think they're ever going to put these up again, so i'm opening the 'scum was bored' vault and posting these up for anyone to use.

a while ago (this was saved to my computer in 2021) I wanted the Isaac chibi really badly. So i went through the process of cleaning some of these up.

I'm not doing any others of these. That's because I generally had to recolor a lot of it to not be super pixelated. The base file is wonky. Unfortunately it takes too much time for me to do it now. And I just don't want to.

I have each layer as something I could recolor to be whatever fit the suitor best, and then I had to cut out chibis from other promo pics and clean them up and redraw on them as well if they were too pixelated. Sorry!

I can’t get over Cybird’s decision to make almost all of the last few events depressing knowing this is it.

Prohibited Paramour? Vampire hunters are looking to kill your man.

Hungering For You? He becomes consumed with bloodlust and tries to distance himself from the MC, afraid he’ll kill her. And I didn’t do all of the ravenous endings, but in Arthur’s it’s implied he accidentally does kill her.

Now this rerun where MC is dead.

So after a day of reflecting and processing, I've decided I'm gonna stick around anyway and carry on. The EN game is still gonna be there at least, like Revolution and I (as well as some of the fandom) still go back to it from time to time, so I'm going to be grateful for that until it gets the MidCin treatment. The routes are there. The suitors are there. So not all is lost. I'm just disappointed about the events I was looking forward to, but Ikemen Vampire still brings me joy and inspiration and its not up to Cybird whether or not that ends. It's up to me. Just like it's up to everyone else here.

So yeah. I'm carrying on with writing for IkeVamp. Stop me if you can.

This is my #1 isaac cg in my heart. I also love the hotdog one.

Not because of his abs here, but just look at his face. Look at how happy he is. Its such a sweet image and i feel like I can picture the scene clearly.

I like to HC that he wouldn't wear anything like this during the timeframe the game takes place in. Meaning like he'd be a bit shy being seen without a shirt even if it was appropriate for where he was at. And then I like to further HC that him doing so in the modern day is because he feels so much secure with himself due to his relationship with MC ... 😭 so this card is a cute little snippet of a beach date with that context for me.

Ikevamp was the game that pushed me to make stationery. It's obviously been a long time since I've written anything related to ikevamp, but here is the mock letter paper I made for Napoleon, Mozart, Arthur, Isaac, Vincent, Theo, Comte, Dazai, Sebastian, and Leonardo.

It's not perfect, the files themselves haven't been updated since 2020, but please feel free to use them if you want to print out any letters from the game you enjoyed. (Or create new ones!)

What I think cybird could have done to save ikevamp

I'm still in denial. I can't believe what happened yesterday :(

I love this game to death but I was thinking in some things they should have done to avoid killing ikevamp:

1 - interaction with players online. Not only a ikevamp problem here but you see other companies more creative than cybird to invite players to interact with their official accs. You have no official cybird discord server for example.

2 - not releasing other games in the same month they released ikevamp -which by the way affected one of ikevamp's election because they were stupid enough to also release ikepri's election in the same month. Ofc people will prefer to rank in the new game election.

3 - ikevamp gacha sucked. They only introduced hard pity years later and only for some banners. Also their rate to get limited cards was terrible. My napoleon deck is a disaster even after playing the game for 5 years!

4 - suitor's bday banner also sucked. There was not a lot of variety. Usually the same cards. You can see that in ikeprince they add way more cards to the boys bday banner

5 - cybird took too long to localize this game. We were 2 FUCKING YEARS behind the JP server. They didn't show any interest in at least trying to speed up content to be just one year behind JP like most of the current games. You can see that ikevil and ikeprince's route are translated faster

6 - not making use of mission board. Bruh, ikevamp was the first localized game with that system and they refused to use it. It makes no sense

7 - voiced routes. I understand maybe cybird does not have money to dub the whole route, but at least release the voiced lines as soon as possible. I'm pretty sure there are still routes with no voiced lines.

8 - Drama CDs no longer exist. What happened with those wonderful dramas CDs they released years go? I doubt they released for all characters. And tbh I also don't see them doing that in the other games. I have napoleon's so I can say for sure that it was really good.

9 - you have a vampire game but they refused to focus more on vampire elements. They could have done the most dark vampire game ever. If you read napoleon and arthur's sequel you're gonna notice there is not much vampire elements in those sequels. It's more a slice of life (which it's not a problem but why not include more dark/vampire themes in a vampire game?)

10 - no more surveys. Also not only a ikevamp problem. You have other games from other companies releasing surveys EVERY SINGLE MONTH. Why did you stop to listen to your fans? Even if you were not going to follow any of our suggestions, at least try to show you care about the game's development

I’m so upset IkeVamp is going to stop updating. I had a feeling it was coming for a while now, but I thought I still had time. Right during the 6th anniversary, too? I’ve been saving up for the election for so long, and now it’s all pointless. I am really crushed…

This game means a lot to me. I started playing 3 years ago, not expecting to fall in love with these characters and this world as much as I have. I’ve been dealing with so much irl for years, but this game gave me something to look forward to every day, even with its flaws. Knowing that’s over is crushing me. I’m also angry at some choices that have been made regarding the game over the last year or so, which makes this hurt more.

I never played an otome game before this. I downloaded it randomly to kill time. But the characters and world were interesting enough to get me hooked. And I loved the fact that every character got a chance in the spotlight, with extra content on the side. I never had that before. I’m so used to falling in love with a side character with only a few minutes/pages of screen time and that’s it forever. But IkeVamp was the first time I got to experience any character I like ending up as the main character of their own long story, as well as extra content on the side. That was really special to me.

I am really, really sad.
