First like is in so you're getting the Mogswamp fic languishing by the wayside because I got distracted by Shiny New Fandom.

The idea was that Pixlriffs, a minecraft reporter, comes to interview Mog in her superflat world but said superflat world is actually under a curse and he is stranded there. Little bit beauty and the beast type vibes. Mog is a vampire in this one, and as time goes on it's becoming more and more apparent that he's hunting Pix, though they're laso genuinely bonding. Eventually (partially curse-induced) Mog attacks and feeds on Pix, almost killing him, and is horrified by their actions. He forcibly reopens the portal back to Greater Minecraft and throws Pix through it. Pix tries to move on, but he does genuinely care for Mog despite the attack and can't help but feel sorry for her trapped alone, and eventually returns to Mog's world and breaks the curse with True Love's Kiss <3

Was thinking about mbj and polar bears and one thing led to another so now I have Northern Ice-clawed Mammoth Bears, a giant tusked bear traditionally used as mounts by the Northern demon realm. Adding claws to the paws just looked a bit weird bc polar bear paws are so fluffy you can barely see the claws, so I imagine they have some situation where if you get swiped by the claws, you start freezing from the wound out.

Also featuring hairy mbj bc that man deserves to be a bear <3

Throwback to one of my old ocs, Rosemary! I wanted to give him a pseudo saddle with dangling stirrups but I couldn't make it work so I had to settle for stirrup earrings lmao

It's been forever since I last did a monster high redesign and I've literally already done Kiyomi twice but I decided I could do Better, so my decora kei Kiyomi design has gotten an upgrade!

The main change I wanted to make from her original design is to actually make her faceless. Decora kei is all about expressing yourself through an abundance of colour, which I felt fit her, and it originated in Japan like her so that's a bonus. Between the last redesign and this one, I mostly just wanted to go more over the top with colours! I was a little lazy with the variety of face decals last time, and I only had a few in the hair so I wanted to increase that. In hindsight I could've added more in the way of necklaces/bracelets/rings and badges on her jacket for this design but also I want to be Done Please so I'm calling her here <3

Binghe takes Lqg’s flight feathers and makes them into a folding fan, which steals away Lqg’s ability to Reincarnate and his fire magic. Hes turned into a trophy essentially for Binghe to parade about and keep at his side during court. And Lqg resents it and lashes out a lot.

There’s just a lot of themes of loneliness (typical bingge sads) (Lqg being isolated from the world because he can’t fly anymore) and they do end up being intimate and Lqg finds out that Binghe’s demonic qi burns inside him almost like his fire magic did…

Hello cotl fandom today I bring you Shamura and sona nonsense

(rambling under the cut lmao)

So the sona's name is Zapatha and they were originally a unicorn. In the wake of Narinder's imprisonment, several cults sprang up seeking to elevate their leaders to godhood in his place. Zapatha was a follower of another unicorn, Khrona, who sought to become goddess of time. The bishops let some of these upstart cults burn themselves out, but Khrona's was one of the ones that they actively squashed.

Khrona was able to transform Zapatha, giving them a monstrous form (a la the minibosses) with deer elements. However, this took the majority of Khrona's power and after Zapatha was defeated by Shamura (who was doing most of the fighting for the cult squashing because war god) was summarily killed easily, leaving her cult to scatter. Zapatha peeled themself off the ground, permanently physically changed, and crawled off to lick their wounds.

When they heard the Lamb had defeated Leshy, they began keeping an eye on the cult, and then when the Lamb defeated Heket, Zapatha joined the cult in part to be on the winning side this time. They act as a recordkeeper for the cult, but is also collecting folktales and is writing the founding myth of the cult as it goes. Their tent is also sort of a library for the cult, though it is a very informal one.

When Shamura was brought to the cult, Zapatha had a bit of a panic because a) the whole upstart cult business and b) sometimes when you get stomped into the ground by a spider twice your size, your brain goes "that was hot" and you just have to live with that and it's a lot easier to live with that if said spider isn't right in front of you. Shamura, however, doesn't remember Zapatha (which they are very happy about, that fight was Very Embarrassing) just a wash of squashing upstart cults. Because of Shamura's iffy memory, Zapatha has taken to telling them stories with varying basis in reality whenever the two of them are free. This has not helped with their crush.

I simply think. That Mu Qingfang is a doctor in a world where fuck or die situations crop up on the regular. And has thus definitely had to administer such treatment on at least one occasion.

While I am certain he is a consummate professional about the whole thing, I am also certain not everyone he treats is and he is very sick of the resulting propositions.

Reread the fabled beasts chronicles again recently and I am tempted to draw the entire cast (as like. Young adults because like many artists of my ilk I am chronically incapable of drawing children) however I am very aware that that would involve me drawing a lot of characters that I have a very limited mental picture of so we'll see.

Lee, however, I very much do have a mental image of because that boy is undeniably and unabashedly my favourite and I love him. I may at a future date fuck with this piece and add his sword but I didn't feel like designing a sword atm lmao
