Alright, time to pull my shit together. Here is an update of the past long time: I'm getting married in October to handsome man with the most wonderful smile on the planet, strong eyes and an epic kiss, and he happens to be madly in love with me. And I with him. So, I got that going for me. I consider myself a lucky woman. My job is going, eh. Much better than it has in past years, but not as well as it has in more recent time. I strongly believe thats me needing to up my game. So at least I am in control of it. Just need to find the motivation. Again, at least I am in control I had to throw away my favorite pair of Betsey Johnson snakeskin work flats because I wore them to a pulp. Considering buying them again, probably will. Any suggestions welcome. \ My parents have had some hard times, which is tough in the midst of my own wedding. and I have felt that. but more noticeably I have felt the love of my sisters. I truly love my sisters. they are insane, and invaluable. and I will have babies forever until I get a set of sister because it makes everything better. Im sure brothers are good too, but there is NO WAY they are as good as sisters. Alright. That is my life to date, lacking detail. Hope you all are well. Enjoy the evening!

Marathon.

Hey Tumblr...In just 3 short days, I will be running my second marathon. I am traveling to the great (and flat) state of Wisconsin to take on all 26.2 miles of this challenge with some great friends. I feel extremely under prepared, and very nervous. Will everyone send me good thoughts of strong legs and a calm mental state for Saturday morning? Please and Thank you. I can't stop thinking about this tragedy in Colorado. It is so awful that someone feels they have the right to take peoples life, take others loved ones, people's mothers and sons and sisters. They have the audacity to take these valuable people from our planet, these loved people away from the rest of us to satisfy whatever it is they are trying to satisfy. The amount of pain, and loss that this one individual has caused is astounding. And he knew. You must know what you are doing to our planet, to our home and community on this planet when deciding to make actions like this.

I always remeber after 9/11 in a memorial service on TV the wife of the man who tackled the terrorists was there, and she was so proud of her husband. She was there with her children. And think of her husband. The courage it must take to challenge this terrible person in front of you. What it would feel like to see such an evil person in front of you. Everyone take care of each other. Do your best to be kind, to everyone, and rid our communities of evil one small step of kindness at a time.
