The best way to get an idea of what you can do in Obsidian is to look at what other people have done. This is a collection of articles, videos, and Obsidian Publish Vaults showing various setups and processes so you can get inspired!

CSS & Styling
You can just use Obsidian as-is, but it’s so much fun to customise it and waste all the time you should be doing work on making it look pretty. These resources cover various plugins and ways of prettifying your vault, as well as some CSS resources, since Obsidian uses CSS for styling.
How to Style Obsidian
Default Obsidian Theme Colors
CSS reference
CSS Tutorial
CSS-Tricks
CSS Gradient — Generator, Maker, and Background

Plugins
A highly opinionated collection of plugins—all of these are ones I either currently use or have used. Organised loosely from simple to complex. Links go to the github pages, which have install instructions, but the easiest way is to install them directly from the plugins manager inside Obsidian.
smart typography: Converts quotes to curly quotes, dashes to em dashes, and periods to ellipses
url into selection: Paste URLs into selected text
better word count: Counts the words of selected text in the editor.
short links: plugin to display short internal links.

Quite a nice day!
Recently I've been struggling a lot with waking up early and not feeling foggy for the first hour after waking up, but I try not to be to harsh to myself and just to make the best of the day as enjoyable and productive.
finally did some work for my thesis - spent about 2 h
4h 30 mins on forest - mostly history prep
finished Twilight
30 mins of a light workout
attended an online collaboration work call
2 lessons on duolingo

- met with my friends in the evening, had a great time

Not that productive, but it was a very pleasant day

Day 1/58
Well, I don't have any nice picture for today.
Anyways recently I have been lacking discipline and organisation in my life, even though I really need them because of how much I have to complete.
I am going to start 58 days of productivity challenge here. 58 days until my 22nd birthday and my thesis defence.
My main goals are:
Prepare for the history exam (early May)
Complete all tasks regarding my thesis (end May)
Write the thesis! (mid June)
Today:
Did quick 12 min workout after waking up (some movement is still better than nothing)
A lot of tidy-up activities: decluttered my bookshelfs, packed the books I need to take back to the library, decluttered the desk drawers, hoovered, cleaned the entire bathroom
had a 1h phone call with my bf
completed 10 French lessons in duolingo
answered all messages!
did another quick 10 min workout
started reading the Twilight book (yesterday went to the cinema with my friends to see it for the first time, it was soooo funny 😭)
started this challenge!
Now I'm going to make a plan for tomorrow, read some Nabokov and drift off
