Have the kids seen the Barreleye Fish? — No, those aren’t the eyes… those are its nose or smell organs. The eyes are those two large green orb-ish things inside of its transparent head. It’s about 6 inches long and was discovered around 2,000 feet deep off of the coast of central California by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI).
The green lens atop each of the fish’s eyes filters out what little sunlight makes it down from the surface, allowing the fish to focus on the bioluminescence of small jellies or other prey passing overhead. Then the eyes rotate forward to follow the prey, allowing the fish to home in on its meal.
It took from 1939 to 2004 before scientists were able to find a living example of this fish…. 65 years!

Q1. Comparing the both , what are the benefits and drawback of each technique?

Benefit- The good thing is the website is easy to use. By just moving around the mouse to the title and the content will show up. We need not to wait for it to load
Drawback- The bad thing is because we all are too used to clicking so when I tried to view the website the blurred image keep showing and make me feel very irritated.
Yolk
Benefit- This website is quite interesting compare to the other as it has a anime background and sounds.
Drawback- Yolk is hard to use and much more complex. Although, there is a guideline on how to use it, i still find it is confusing.
Q2. Which is easiest to use? Why?
"Don't click.it", because it is only one way of viewing and is much more organise (a specific way of viewing)
Q3. Which is hardest to use? Why?
"Yolk" , because I need to follow the instruction to use and the page is not arrange in a specific direction but in four different direction. This make me confuse and don't know which page has already read.
Q4. What are the affordance, feedback and constraints of these works?

Affordance -Instead of the mouse pointer the website use a the picture of a hand holding the mouse which is easy for user to understand on how to view the content.
Feedback-It is easier to understand and view the contains.
Constraint-We are too used to click so in this website we will feel quite difficult to use without clicking.
Yolk
Affordance-Yolk has many ways of viewing and the background is anime .This make it interesting and different from others website.
Feedback-Although the website is trying to make people view it differently but it is quite confusing. If they could solve this problem, I think it would be a good website.
Constraint-The sound of the chicken cannot be mute although I have mute the sound.This quite irritate me.

what i think design is....
SO THATS MY MANIFESTO ABOUT DESIGN
you will c a lot of words that's arrange further apart n u might feel weird....
coz u din realize that actually it is a pic of a human
human = me (my concept of design)
n is this unpredictable for u? lol...
and the 2 lines above the red words are actually 2 eyes that represent the feeling of bored bcoz the sentences b4 it "i m tired of old things" n "things have b'cum so mundane"
the "no regular" i put it in red b'coz it is very important in my concept.
4 eg.
If one day u go 2 somebody house and they come out from window
it probably is my design.
that is a regular thing that all of us know that when u enter a house you must go through a door
but...
y must ppl goes in a house through the door? can't they go through the windows...

Identity
#1 What is identity?
Identity of a person is the unique things of a person that is definable and recognizable by other people. For example, the face, the name and the behavior of a person. Identity of a person also can define as a person who has his or her own thoughts but not just follow the others blindly.
#2 What is identity especially in today’s connected world?
In today’s connected world, a person can have more identity that they create in the visual world. An identity they would like to be, even it can be totally different from what they really are. They can do what they want to do through these identity but they can’t in the real world.
#3 Are you disturb by what you see?
Yes. It is because the use of virtual identity causes loss of own unique identity. For example, taking other’s pictures and treat it as one’s own.
#4 Are you happy with what is going on around you?
No. The use of virtual identity causes many social problems. Many people nowadays create their own “fake” identity and started a new life in the virtual world that is very similar as our real world. They will addict to those “fake” worlds and some of them even felt the virtual world is better than the real world. These people maybe are trying to escape from the reality. In the real world, they cannot become the person they wish to be and do the things they want to. So they choose the virtual world, a world is under their control and can fulfill their wishes.
