Error's mindset is too chaotic, sure he's an egocentric mf but also he can't believe someone could love him, to him, everyone should FEAR him and at least, not like him in the slightest. Why would a PARASITE feel anything?

He couldn't care less about what happens to people (why would people care about him?) and he can't empathize with the people he hurts because he's not the one in pain, so why should HE feel bad? I mean, is not that Error is a heartless or whatever???

like of course he's doing REALLY bad things and is way too fucked up to be fixed, but he does have feelings, he can feel guilty, feel offended or deceived by the people with whom he forged a "sentimental" bond (like blueberry that's why he was so mad when blue tried to manipulate him, and even before blue did that, Error didn't believe blue actually liked him, because he doesn't think he's worthy of love). Thinking someone likes him or loves him It's too much to handle so he's like "that's a lie you're just trying to manipulate me!!!"

nems later on gets a hidden power, called “dream-weaving.” with this, he’s able to “write” in items such as weapons, with the condition being that he’s read about it. more complicated weapons and items need more determination to create though.

now you might be thinking, where the heck did this come from?! i didn’t know nems even had determination…

well first, before i can explain…

meet Crow!

everyone welcome the new guy!

he’s anemoiatale’s version of one of the “mages” who locked monsters underground. except this guys a bit different!

during the war, instead of locking monsters under mt.ebott, they decided to lock the monsters inside crow’s soul. ofc this was made possible due to his incredible amount of power, and determination… also, this guys kiiinda ancient.

because of being locked inside of his soul, most of the monsters died out due of the excessive amount of determination (not to mention that monsters can’t handle determination in the first place) except a select few. these select few had one thing in common, and that was that they had more physically capable bodies, which is why they were able to live on. as more and more monsters were born, evolution did its thing and now anemoiatale’s monsters are very physically capable, and their souls all have a bit of determination…

lots of years later, crow transferred the monsters into frisk’s soul, which also reset the monsters’ memories and past personalities, effectively wiping them into blank slates, waiting for frisk to apply their perceptions of each character into them… this will be explained more in a future post! for now all you need to know is that crow doesn’t have much of a liking towards monsters in general…

nems gets his dream-weaver powers after fighting crow, who possessed him to kill off other AUS… this will also be explained more in the future! perhaps… even a comic series…? ;)

anywho, hope this made sense, even if i did leave out a lot of major details…

hehe, more nems and ink interactions!

here’s the thing; nems does still appreciate what ink does for the multiverse and creators. after all, without them, he would’ve never met any of his friends.

however, he doesn’t like the part of him that doesn’t pay much mind to how the characters feel as, that’s what ink sees them as. characters.

nems is attached to the characters on the other hand, which is why he cares so much when a universe gets erased. “To those who got erased without a trace of dignity, I will make sure you’ll be remembered…”

ofc this relationship is way deeper than that… i’ll reveal more as time passes hehe…
