As you can see, I changed up Dream’s design a bit… and I would love to hear your thoughts about it! Any opinion is valid. I would love to keep using this design, but I want to play it safe and make sure most people are okay with this change. If not I completely understand and will switch back to how I used to draw Dream’s human version.

yayyy XPRESSOO SHIPKID!!!! im so happy with how they turned out.!!!

they're a pretty timid kid, and they're usually super friendly! they like helping out their dads with the café (they mostly goof off with the cats). they go to school in the omega timeline, but... they don't like it. they get picked on because cross is their dad, but they don't say anything cause they don't want their parents to worry.

cross noticed something was off, but when muffin wouldn't tell him what's wrong, he gave them his old bandana. he told them that the bandana will protect them from everything, and help them be strong. they only ever take it off when they have to.

they're sorta a loner at school, spending recesses alone when they can avoid the kids who bother them. they like to collect trinkets and stuff they find around the playground—they have a satchel to hold these things! they kinda just pick up random trash and show it off to their dads like it's treasure 😭 they're a bit of a hoarder

they LOVE their uncle epic. because, duh, he's the fun uncle!!! they like watching meme compilations together and just... being cringe together <3 cross joins in too tbh but they like epic more cause he lets them get away with everything. the hat is actually a gift from epic!! :-D

they have a bigg gap in their teeth, so they have braces!! they speak with a bit of a lisp :3

they're 10 years old!! their bday is december 3rd <3

anyway yaaa i love them,, so much. do any other xpresso kids even exist? idk if they do but they SHOULD!!!

I have a bunch of wips that I don't plan on finishing so instead of throwing them into the trash folder I'm putting them here.

This was a Dream drawing I started to practice lighting & rendering.

Passive Nightmare drawing because I wanted to make a fully rendered piece.

Killer and Cross based off this bnha panel, loved the idea just fell out of love with drawing it.

An Ink doodle of some clothes I saw on Pinterest that I thought he'd slay in, the second drawing is a concept of Passive Nightmare as a ball-jointed doll.

The final drawings are a concept I was working on for awhile, it was based off the song Brutus by the buttress. Basically, the twins were born to a kingdom where the male takes the privilege of being the next heir to the throne. Nightmare is a woman in this au, and thus grows up envious of Dream for having the opportunities she doesn't. I had the story planned out in addition to its ending and was planning on making an animatic for it. Though I don't really see myself doing that anymore.

Do you ever think that like whenever Killer and Cross are lying in bed together, that Killer would reach out to Cross's chest and touch it-

And feel the warmth that came from his SOUL, feel the thrum of his soul-beat through his ribs?

And just lay there, on his side, just feeling that steady pulse and listening to the quiet sounds of them breathing?

And then quietly make the comment that they sort of matched? That Cross and Killer were so much alike, yet so, so insanely different?

And when Cross quietly asks what he means by that, Killer just murmurs about red and white. He talks about not being entirely monster, not entirely themselves- and yet they are both, inexplicably, them. Mention how that fact is a little shitty, not gonna lie.

And when Killer finally looks up a bit to meet Cross's eyes, his smile wavers at the sincerity in his gaze. He's reminded of the warmth under his fingertips.

And the warmth of Cross when he inevitably leans forward to press their foreheads together, Cross's own hand on Killer's chest (close enough to Killer's SOUL, but not enough to touch). And then Cross mumbles something about it being a little shitty, but at least they weren't alone.

And it makes Killer's SOUL ache and wobble and
