I recieved this video form my friend of her using the monster as i intended it to be used. Im very happy she sent this to me as it gives me satisfaction that even when im not with friends they still use and look for the moster when outside!!

UPDATE FROM PROJECT 3!!!!
Today i went outside LCC to see if my sticker was still up and it was!!!! It was been used so much and i am so glad people know what its for. The sticker has been ruined as i was intending it to be and he looks like hes been eating peoples cigs!!!!

week 13
After scanning in all my posters and people doodles and some experimenting, I finally created my final product of this poster with all the doodles combined onto one page. All doodles should be included in this poster as it took me a long time to individually lasso them and place them in a way none would overlap or touch. BUT I DID IT.
I think this is one of my favourite projects ive done throught my uni career. Getting other people involved in my work. I would love to go back and place this poster in each spot i orignally put the blank ones. This is definitely somthing to think about.
After some experimentation with this posteri chose to add sonme blank blobs to keep the project going. Poeple who see it still have the chnace to fill or think of that those blobs could be and this project could just expand and expand from there. its really endless. Im so happy with how this turned out and i think it fits the brief perfectly.

Today i did some experimenting with how my final piece would look. i started by lasso-ing each individual doodle. However i found not all of them would fit on the page and therefor this wouldnt work with the blobs being the same size as they originally were, which is common knowledge i just didnt really think. But althoguh is final product will look busy, this just felt too busy and had too much going on all at once i didnt really know where too look.
So i decided to scrap this idea and move onto the next were i include some blank blobs to break up the work a bit and still iinvolve the audiece as they can do some blob spotting!

This is the last of all my posters and the fullest. This page was placed on the notice board outside the LCC library. This was clearly a great place to pin it up as this spot gets alot of traffic. From people walking to the canteen to the library, art shop, class in the tower block. That means many people saw my poster and other peoples work, im very glad about this. Im glad there different skill levels like a fully detailed face to 2/3 boobs. I feel people really to this task as freely as they want dand thta exactly what i hoped for!
If i were to do this project again and on a longer scale i would love to post one of these posters there every week for a few months and then accumulate. alot of drawings. i can image some people would look for it over the weeks to fill it out.

This poster was put up in the library and i didnt expect many people to see it as i just placed it on a table in a quite section. But im glad people found it and had some fun. It looks like someone started one on the purle blob on the right but stopped and thats fine.

Another page of my blobs. I think i left this one by the lcc tower block lift on the notice board. I love the freedom people have had and i never would have thought to turn the orange one in the top left into a fig! This one also has faces which i really enjoy because it allows experimentation with space and proportions

I love all the ideas people have created some are more simple, some more detailed, i think it is so facinating that people got these ideas for plain blobs!

This is the one scan for this project, its pretty full which im very pleased about, it makesd my work feel valuble and seen, even though the drawings arnt mine.
I love how someone joined 2 blobs together in the top right corner, I will make sure to keep them together in the end product.

This is the same video with the low oppacity image placed on top, this made a really cool vibe for the video and changed the vibe, im not sure if it still feels personal. It does but it also doesn't. But i really like this video, i think it refect the project very well!
I really enjoyed making this and developing the video, i feel it completments my project very well and shows the thoguht process people have gone through when looking at my poster. The big blobs on top represents the ideas people could have when they look at the blobs floating around their head. But the video itself shows the doodle coming to life from nothing but a shape.

To add onto my video i cut out 4 of the doodles and reduced to oppacity to around 25% to layer on top of my last video. i cant wait to see how this turns out (spoiler its quite cool). I picked 4 that were different colours to see what they would look like over layed on the video.

Next for my 3rd video i taped the camera to me to create my video. This gave such a cool perspective on my work and it feels very personal. I felt a bit odd tapeing a camera to my self and once it was stuck on i couldnt tell where it was pointing or if anything was in shot. When i was done i was so happy with the short video i created so i took it into cacpcut to speed it up slightly so the video wasnt as long.
i really enjoyed this video and developed it further.... see in next post.

In this weeks lab session we were asked to film our work in 3 different ways to make something new happen in the ivm room. This was my second video, featuring my friend ginna filling in a blob for over her shoulder.
This task was okay, it helped my project slightly as now i have more blobs filled, but i got kind of bored

A very long post of doodle blobs
week 12
After 5 days od being up, i took all of my posterd down (the ones that were left). Unfortunatluy, 2 of my pages got taken down which was very aggravating as thta means less evidence of work and i missed out on potentential doodles. Even one in the IVM class room was taken down. Could they not have just moved it??
ANYWAY i took a few photo of some great additions to my blobs just before i scan them in. Every single on i recieved was amazing and. i love the creativity and fun people had with it. It really shows different levels of skills and thought processes. It was like a suprise when i was seeing them for the first time in 5 days.

Heres a poster i pit up in the girls toilets. I thought this would be a good place as people are usually waiting around in toilets. It gives people something to do.
