Simply Yet Surreal Illustrations That Play With Your Expectations
Most of the work by Switzerland-based illustrator Stephan Schmitz include a visual illusion that hooks viewers in. From hiding faces within clothes to having a shadow react by licking ice cream, his subtle palette of colors, and plain, offbeat style can be easily dismissed but his illustrations all hint at deeper meanings and surreal stories.
