I went to this church called Sacre Coeur... Then I walked around and got amazing views. Sorry for the bad quality pics. People put these locks on bridges and stuff with the name of couples so they can be together forever! It’s very romantic! Also there’s this square in Montmartre where people sell their art.

Some pictures of my flight ! I had a layover in Dublin where I hung out for 5 hours. They had some really cool jam and a book with cool recipes for something called tea time. These are some pictures of the airport in Dublin too, and the airplane food. It was buttered chicken with rice. It had this red sauce. I arrived in Paris around 9pm on December 15th!

Today we went to Hachioji station as a class to get passmo cards. The bus was pretty easy to navigate and we aren’t supposed to talk on the bus. We had to bring 300en to pay for the bus. Patrick showed us which trains to take to the main city and the bus to get back home. I loaded 100en on my passmo since I’ll be going to the city a lot. We didn’t have time to look around so I’ll probably come back tomorrow to explore. Following Patrick around was a little difficult because he walked so fast, also it was a little hard to hear due to the station being crowded. There was a bitcoin store which apparently sells some good tripods so I might come back to get one.

Some photos from my first day in Hachioji. It was the first day of class but mostly an orientation style thing, we set up the wifi as well and took the test for Japanese. I got placed in the advanced section which was great. Also check this out- it’s a lawn mower that mows itself (the last pic). We had a tour of the campus and walked around to see all the buildings and get to know their numbers. I got to try the cafeteria food- cheap and tasty, and I also got some cake. I ran into my Japanese friend Mei and met some of her friends. Her English is very good, she said she studied abroad in Canada for awhile. I had met her at the seminar house because she was one of the attendants. I’m really jealous because I wish I could study abroad in Japan for a few years and become really good at Japanese. After that me and the class went on a tour of the neighborhood and Patrick pointed out some laundromats and good food places to go to. After school I checked out the super alps and daiso to buy some stuff for the apartment.
