[STARCAST] Hello 2016! Preview BTS’s 2016 Season’s Greeting!

Hello 2016! Hello, STARCAST readers! We only have 2 more months left before 2016. BTS taken Season’s Greeting with fun and various features for you to enjoy your time in 2016. Revealing a part of it only for STARCAST! The concept of this Season’s Greeting is ‘A movie character’. It was fun shooting that each member parody movie character and changed the props or settings for themselves. Do you want to see how they have expressed the movie characters? Let’s guess who’s who by looking at the photos and the hints follow.

[Difficulty level: easy]

Question # 1 - J-HOPE

Title: I don’t want to study, mom.

Title: No, that’s not something you should eat.

Hint 1-1: A letter delivered for him. Hint 1-2: A pair of glasses.

Behind story: J-HOPE’s photo needed an effect like a magic. People worked to direct natural and realistic scene instead of using CG. Staffs made flower effect like popcorns and flew paper planes and best actor J-HOPE did well while enjoying magical effects. (There was no J-HOPE who was afraid of paper place flying down!)

Question # 2 - SUGA

Title: Mom, I want to go and play outside.

Title: So, when does the funny part start?

If the moon say something to you, just believe it.

Hint 2-1: The guardian Hint 2-2: Loss of memory

Behind story: SUGA’s prop was a stick candy! However the candy that was bigger than SUGA’s mouth disappeared after the first shooting. The blue colored lens that made SUGA’s eyes shine. He had difficulty to wear lens because he’s not used to it but SUGA and the photographer satisfied with awesome results.

[Difficulty level: normal - JIN and V]

The people for the question number 3 are, JIN and V! They don’t look familiar, right?

Hint 3-1: 94-14 Hint 3-2: Christmas

Behind story: 1) JIN and V concentrated on expressing character more than appearance. They showed professional features by directing their clothes and props. However, Why are they looking handsome? (Because they are handsome!!) 2) The key point of the photo was <it is more funny if I pose seriously while wearing those kind of things>.

[Difficulty level: hard – JIMIN]

Please give me some power, the love

Hint 4-1: My heart is shining brightly. Hint 4-2: Sad ending.

Behind story: It was difficult for JIMIN to express the character’s feeling because he doesn’t have much experience about it.  But as soon as the shooting started, he showed brilliant acting. JIMIN acted for a man fall in love and waiting for the lover.

RAP MONSTER’s diary: Why am I look small in front of my friend at kindy.

RAP MONSTER and JUNG KOOK shoot for the concept that is very different to their original features. They showed perfect harmony like the previous Season’s Greeting. RAP MONSTER who is saying it’s difficult to express cuteness. It was the moment that thinking seriously that we should prevent that the day RAP MONSTER can express cuteness easily to come for our health issues. (You are cute enough now-*)

Key point: RAP MONSTER look so small in front of JUNG KOOK and JUNG KOOK look dependable beside RAP MONSTER.

The story that JUNG KOOK was disappointed while watching JIMIN’s individual shooting!? JUNG KOOK looked at himself wearing ‘cute overalls’ and ‘cool’ JIMIN wearing black shirt. He was mucking around by saying ‘I want to do something cool!’. (Then when he got cool suit on and enjoyed shooting.)
