HOW TO PUT STROKES/OUTLINES ON YOUR GIFS THE EASY WAY

note — this is often harder to do on larger gifs as it can cause photopea to crash. compressing it on ezgif, choosing a smaller gif, or adding the stroke to ur gif in a seperate project than the rest of the graphic and adding it in afterwards can help this.

then boom ur gif has an outline ^_^

Import both your GIF and your selected image mask.

Select the entire GIF folder and duplicate it into your image mask file.

Resize your GIF to your liking.

Place your mask over your GIF, so that you can access it for the next step.

Use the Magic Wand tool to select your image mask. This will create the silhouette of the mask.

Select "Add Raster Mask" to your GIF folder.

Delete your original image mask layer. It is blocking the clipped GIF underneath.

If you are struggling to apply the IbisPaintX stroke filter after using remove.bg’s background removal, use the following five steps. Example:

Instructions below the cut.

Step one: Create a new layer.

Step two: Fill in the outside of your image with white, hide said image, and then fill its silhouette with black.

Step three: Select “Clear White (Grayscale)” in the layer’s options.

Step four: Place the black layer under your image. Use said layer to apply your stroke filter.
