Well, I would rather live in a beautiful modern rustic home with rich woods, in the Ozarks, than an anemic, white modern home in the 'burbs. Rivercliff is a 1974 30-acre compound in Ozark, MO. 3bds, 3ba, 3800sqft, $2.65m, and a sale is pending.
Look at this entrance. It's more of an upscale rustic design, or maybe not even rustic at all. Oooh, I wonder if that little mushroom next to the stairs conveys.
This is lovely, I love the addition of greenery.
Dramatic living room. Look at the post in the middle- it looks like a candle, but it could be electric. That's unusual.
Beautiful. It looks like a long sunroom with all the windows.
Architecturally interesting fireplace. That's different.
Huge dining room. The stained glass window has my last initial. That would be perfect if I had $2.65m to buy it.
Nice little corner sitting area has its own fireplace.
The stove out front looks like an island. I've never seen a stove like this one. Fancy. There's a regular stove back there, too.
This is lovely- an everyday dining room with panoramic views.
Comfy, casual family room.
But, look at what's behind the double doors- a big wine cooler.
This is nice, it's upstairs so you can see down to the main floor, but also look at the ceiling and stained glass.
This must be the primary bedroom with a nice brick wall and cute fireplace.
They have a lot of stained glass windows. Love this bathroom.
What a great bar. Beautiful carving and the sink is in a wood counter with a tap above.
Another beautiful bath with an antique repro toilet and a copper tub.
Gorgeous sink made out of a table and they even added the brass rail.
Across the driveway, they have a guesthouse with its own parking.
It's a 1bd. home with a nice living room, kitchenette and shower room.
Patio with a pergola and a fountain outside.
Terraces all around the house.
30 acres is a lot of land to walk around. Here's a suspended bridge over some of the property.
Here there's target practice.
The property is huge, but it's all landscaped. I can't even imagine the cost of the upkeep.
The 30 acre property is above the Finley River. To get the the full effect, you have to look at the listing photos- there are 199 of them.

I'm sorry, what? Bonnets are WHAT? This societal norm of literally centuries, a standard facet of life for ages and ages is. is a CLICHE?!
No worries, I'm gonna direct a movie about the 90s, but all the characters are gonna be nude. After all, everyone depicts them in clothes, it's just tOo cLiChE

I think most of Tumblr's attempts at world building religion are absolutely terrible because:
1. They think that only stupid people are faithful, anyone who's 'enlightened' won't be religious
2. Religions are some sort of centuries long con/conspiracy used to manipulate people (therefore no religion is real ever)
3. Are trying to make pantheon ala Greek/Roman mythology, but their knowledge is exclusively from Percy Jackson and the Tumblr-ified/woobified versions online
4. Legitimately believe that religion is just an accessory, (ie. A person is a Christian if they wear a cross, a person is Muslim if they wear a head covering)
5. They have an inability to engage with or write from the perspective of someone who's different from them
And the sad thing is that this could be so easily resolved if they were just willing to research (and do it on a place that isn't Tumblr or another social media platform)

Hey maybe you guys should stop writing for the Addams family cause you don't get them at all.

Imagine my girl Morticia saying that shit in any other portrayal? NO? Because she wouldn't.
