i often find myself wondering about the rates of skin cancer among dragon riders and the dragon lords of old valyria… like the valyrians are described as pale, fair-haired people are already considered a higher risk for skin cancer. plus the direct contact with sunlight at high altitudes while flying on dragon back sounds like a recipe for aging skin and suspicious moles.
