Overall I did enjoy this brief in the end. At first I was very panicked as we only had three weeks to get everything done but being in a group really helped split the cost of everything and split certain roles between each other. We had to think of so many little details like nail colours, socks but got organised and gor everything done pretty quick. We had issues with some of the location as we didn’t look at shop closing times so we had a limited amount of time to shoot the orange look and also the pink location wew had a problem with because we thought there would be more pink cherry blossom trees but they were more of a really pale pink so the colour just wasn’t strong enough for the look so editing was vital in what we done. Also, the blue look was shot as the sun was going down but towards the end the sun had fully gone down so flash was needed to see the model but then it just made the sky look black. Luckily the car park was slightly lit up but we had to improvise and use our phone flashlights to light the models face up in the slightest. But over all it was definitely nice to work as a group and have plenty of ideas flying about.

On my blog the images look as if they are pixelated. That’s because they’re screenshots on my blog. The final JPEG files are too big to upload to Tumblr but when printing off the final images to see the quality there’s no pixelation.

Editing
Our editing was pretty straight forward. We knew that we definitely had to make the images look more colourful so we started messing around with contrast and vibrance till we felt it got our colours across in the right away. Also to make the images stick out themselves we used the same image as a background then just turned the opacity down to fifty percent so all the attention wasn’t taken away from the main photo itself. Also, with the background we changed the colour balance so they were just blocks colours to make the images stronger.

In my mind I had a choice of two colours so I decided to make mood boards so I could make a final decision when I had seen visuals instead of just picking a colour off the top of my head. Red and blue were the two colours I had in mind but after seeing the final mood boards I chose to go with Blue.
