I think i could add more things to the pitch deck but i quite like the simple look that it has, the colors work well and the type faces strangely also work well together.

Poster animation (updated)

edited to fit the new updated poster. some things i forgot to mention in the first animation post is that the background text isn't supposed to be readable but it does show throughout the animation, words about designing in New Zealand on the right side disappearing slowly and moving to the right side of the poster, and turning into how great designing in Australia is. things i would change if i had time to is to make somethin spin, I'm thinking about the question mark or Tasmania. just to give it a little more movement

i was thinking about it and i decided that the way the paper could be useful is to show the actual "hop" over the boarder and this is the best way that i could think of to use the paper it visually brings everything together. A thing that i dont like and i wont change is the "i" in "should i" i feel like it doesn't stand out enough and isnt readable i have to emphasize the background text isn't intended to be read

for the final poster design i took the idea of the stretched out text using the text manipulation we learnt in class made it so it looked like part of the actual type. I removed the texturing on top of the large text to keep it more simple. I did try to move around the paper in the background but i found that in that position it helped to keep the overall poster interesting without too much white space, it also helps to make the red like pop. because with small text in the background it reduces the how much the red pops

Poster Test

This is a further development of the poster, without the paper background the red line doesnt pop as much and it somehow makes the poster hard to read without the visual cut off that the paper gives it makes it less manageable to read. though i do have to say it makes the poster alot more clean and simple, but i dont think im able to take the trade off that i think it makes it less readable

Animated Poster

This animated poster, is has the idea of moving to Australia. This is done by directing your eyes from NZ to Australia, Which is also how you read the poster from top right to bottom left and the red line is the connector to bring everything together. The other thing is the blurry type. This is to show the uncertainty and how the thought fades in and out of everyday thoughts.

Reflection

I think the poster design is a little too complex for my liking, The background text is very not to my liking. the large text isn't the best fitting but it was the best I could find.

Development 4

I think this is quite close to my final design, some things i am still iffy about are the lines on the text of "should I" and "ditch" and the background text is a bit iffy as well otherwise i love the color it is a nice neutral and the red is a very drawing color

This is the first concept of the poster combo, I like the colors used i think the cyan is a little harsh so ill experiment with toning it down a little, I think there's a lot of things that could be improved on and i will make sure to implement them within the following developments. some things i don't like are the type face and the red line can be more interesting.

My idea was to have the background a cyan to represent the sea and the words to be the elevation within the sea bed but that was quite hard to show.

I think the paper cut of of aus and nz was a good idea, i think the red like was a good idea but it is quite out of the way, and i want to make it more of the main subject and maybe even introduce type to it
