A large school of tetras or something like that would indeed be very cool (I am partial to rummynose tetras because they look cool and have a funny name). Especially if you want to plant it, I imagine that would look quite stunning. Good luck the your tank, I hope to see an update once you decide what to do with it!

Hellooooooo I got a big tank (160 gallons!!!) And have not decided what to put in it, so I'm reaching out to the internet! Here's the tank:

I'm researching, don't worry, I'm not about to fill it up and sentence some fish to certain death with inadequate filtration or anything but I'm just... More motivated when I have a goal, you know? So. I got this tank for free, it is basically a windfall, and it's functional and came with a biofiltration tank and sump (goes in the stand), and I just... Need stocking suggestions, basically. What is possible? What would be fun? I'm so excited.

If it was me, I would put some fancy goldfish in that bad boy. That's basically my dream tank, you could easily fit 8 or more depending on the type, no need for heater. Do a super basic hardscape and throw some moss balls in there and you'd be good to go! Clean and gorgeous.
