Cassie: That's not true. People find beauty and kindness and intelligence in lots of places and people. I'm just not one of them.

Cassie: Agree to disagree on that one lol but thank you, you're nicer to me than I deserve. The fawns are so cute! They really lift my spirits, they're so fun and happy and know no fear. And yes! Oh gosh isn't it so lovely?! Bird song might be my favorite sound in the world.

Isaac: You do deserve it- you're one of the few people around here that's nice to me and you're just a great person. And it's really cool to me that they all have their own songs. It's quite funny to watch them do their little mating dances where they puff their feathers up, too.

To be fair, dude, I don’t think anyone actually likes watching people kick a ball around. Soccer’s so boring, I feel like the people that say they’re fans get paid to pretend to like it. 

Maybe. People do seem to enjoy it, but it’s probably more for the camaraderie of rooting for the same team and the celebration when they win than watching the actual sports themselves.

Anthony: Dr. Pepper was always my favorite back on the Isle.

Anthony: You're welcome. And nor do I, though I'll admit to an occasional guilty pleasure in the form of soda. I like the bubbles. I tried La Croix but it just... isn't.

Isaac: Mine is chocolate. Especially dark chocolate. I know what you mean about bubbles, though. Do you drink sparkling water at all? I know most people seem to hate it but I like the sensation.

I’ll look for that and for you, then! I bet you gave a great blurry-faced performance! Aww, Isaac, that’s such a sweet suggestion! Maybe I could call it something like Crafting Happiness, and switch between crafting videos and like lifestyle inspiration stuff!

I think people under-estimate the power of hobbies to improve our mood and improve our self esteem. I’ve gotten back in to writing music and it’s doing me a lot of good.

Cassie: Well, thanks. For saying that and for dealing with me when I'm like this. You're right though, I have no one to stay cute-ish for, its time to stuff my face and eat my feelings. Oh! I can totally do that though! There are about to be so many births at the shelter, its insanity in the best way!

Isaac: Because some people are vapid idiots who can't see intelligence, kindness and beauty even if it's right in front of them.

Isaac: I mean you'd be cute at any size, so don't worry about trying to be or stay a certain weight. That's great! And the fawns must be getting quite big now. Plus, I bet you love hearing the birds chirping again of a morning.

Virginia: Allow me to be controversial for a moment. I think a lot of people have latched onto that argument, and based on the quality of many YA series I've read lately, I think that authors are using it to their benefit? They're writing stories that have so much potential but then have weak climaxes or have hastily thrown together resolutions, and then when people are calling them out for weak writing, they're saying 'people are just mean to things teen girls enjoy!' and hiding behind that.

Virginia: Fascinating, because I really feel that the obsession with wealth and showing off your superiority is a more masculine habit. Perhaps they never even dig deep enough to realize that, though.

Isaac: Ah, perhaps. I think an argument could be made that it's just as ageist & misogynistic to assume young women will settle for lit of low quality just because it's marketed towards them.

Isaac: People tend to project their worst qualities on to others.

Isaac: I'd only heard of it the other day but it's apparently some big summer festival they have in Westerly every year. Sounded like your kind of thing.

Anthony: It does seem that way, but I can't complain with the results. Peach Coke is surprisingly tasty.

Anthony: Really? I genuinely find that shocking. You have a very clear visage.

Isaac: I'd rather just have a normal coke myself, or a Dr. Pepper.

Isaac: Thank you. My only guess as to the reason would be that I don't eat sugar all that often.

Oh, that’s kind of an interesting premise, as someone who wants to kiss guys and girls most of the time! I feel like I don’t have a bias but I wonder if society does – has the video been posted? It sounds worth the watch! Wait, really? That’s so nice of you to say! I have an AuraTube channel that has a few videos about teaching people to knit or scrapbook or whatnot already, what other kinds of videos could you see me doing?

I just checked and yes, it’s been posted. Timestamp 2:34 is them approaching me and me getting visibly annoyed, but luckily they agreed to blur my face. Oh, that sounds interesting. You could talk about how you keep a positive attitude and see the best in people and give others tips on how to do the same.

One person. But that’s not the point. I just think kissing strangers and making a spectacle of it is kind of trashy and probably spreads all kinds of diseases.

Oh! So you’re also into hot archer dudes, got it, got it. Good news! Your arms don’t have to stay noodly forever, there’s this place called the gym that you can go first. And like, practice bows you can use until you’re stronger. My sister’s a better teacher than me, though, so uh… hit her up! 

No, I’m saying I think it’s a fun sport to watch, no matter who is shooting the bow and how attractive they are. It’s so much more entertaining to me than, say, watching meatheads kick a ball around. And maybe one day. Right now I’m happy to be an archery appreciator.
