okay so in witchs heart the elfords are witches because of the demonic pact or whatever and obviously theyre not under any obligation to dress like a witch because claire is like. in a tank top and cargo shorts and fionas wearing. a plain green shirt that looks like it came from target in like 2014. so the question is why tf did dorothy dress like that. like shes wearing robes and a bigass witches hat during literal witch hunts. like she literally saw what happened to suspected witches. did susie elford dress like that too? weve never seen any of her sprites (to my knowledge all we know is that shes dorothys mom) so did dorothy get that from her or is like her whole family shopping at regular clothing stores and dorothys just in cosplay 80% of the time. also shes the only one of the elfords that we know to have actually practiced some form of witchcraft so when she heard she was a witch did she just commit fully to the aesthetic? idk i just think its funny
