Nope and nope again

I haven't been here much. Bruce Cockburn wrote, "wherever you are when the compass rolls, you'll never be again." In the last six months the compass has rolled. I have seen my job situation change, lost my girlfriend, ran a 50 mile race and bought a house. None of this was in my head a year ago. It's been hard, sad, joyful and rewarding as life can be. Here's my Playboy thumbnail, I am a Catholic and that's fun, I am a chef at a private club, I run Ultras, I read too much (as if), I dig movies, and I like many different types of music from Aesop Rock to Zappa to Anthony Braxton to Sleep. I grew up in the golden years of the 70s and 80s and I live near Atlanta. That's all for now. I will try to return as much as my cat allows.
