long time no see!

i’ve been playing the sims again! it hasnt been for a super long time, but i’ve been playing a random legacy and really really enjoying it! i haven’t taken any photos in it because i’m just trying to get interested again but i am playing

something that made me feel really good about getting back into the sims is i just took out all my cc except my defaults, it made getting back into it after months so much easier! i get to build up on what i want my sims to look like and how they want to live again.

i’m not entirely sure when i will come back to simblr or if i even will, but i wanted to share that my love for the sims is back, and to me that’s the most important part!

calling out racism isnt “starting drama”, its important and needs to happen and people of color have every right to be angry and upset when encountering racism both online and irl.

calling out the sexualization of minors/pedophilia isnt “starting drama” its important and necessary to keep kids safe.

calling out homopbobia and transphobia isnt “starting drama’.

calling out islamphobia, antisemitism, and xenophobia isnt “starting drama”

saying these important issues are just “"online tumblr drama”“ is so dismissive and dehumanizing to the struggles that people go through and it doesnt take that much effort to actually care and listen to people when theyre talking about issues.

if you are neutral you are siding with the oppressors and complicit in the harm being done. if you dismiss the struggles of the oppressed youre contributing to their oppression.
