truly and utterly think that firestar shouldve been in on the secret of the three. its in character!! it explains how in starclans name they got away with that. it turns post arc 1 firestar into more of the character he was in arc 1 - somebody who isnt from the clans, and has a WILD personal sense of justice and will back up those he loves to a fault.

there is no timeline where firestar is going to rag on leafpool for having kits and wanting to be a medicine cat still!! he Loves breaking the rules if he doesnt get them. its his main character trait and even as leader it should stay intact. this man is pro crime 5ever.

if you're going to headcanon onestar as homophobic or something then first of all you need to understand that he's gay but second of all you need to understand that his assholery comes not from a place inherent, but a place of fear and resentment and insecurity that stems from the windclan succession crisis in TNP. onestar is not a bad apple leeching out into the rest of windclan or like an evil powerhungry dictator, but he is a reflection of windclan's own bigotries back at them in an attempt to pacify them, redirect their anger, keep him safe, to prove something. buried in posturing and nationalism until he believes it himself to some extent. he wants anything but to be leader. he's acting like a generic sweet boy in one arc and a warmonger two arcs later, not because he's secretly muttering slurs behind firestar's back in TPB, but in a spineless but survivalist attempt at control + some major grudge holding. so like, yeah, i think you can for sure work a homophobic onestar's windclan in conjunction with that, but not if onestar is the end all be all of it. he's a product of his own society and the things that made him colder and crueler were there before him and even then it's not remotely just a windclan thing anyways

cant get behind mutual thrushblue not for any disdain for thrushpelt but it gets on my nerves when a guy's romantic advances towards a girl he likes are rejected/not reciprocated in canon and then in a weirdly gendered way everybody goes "aw but he's nice :( so here's my au where she does like him back" bitch what's even the point then!!

graystripe grievances aside his propensity to kill when firestar is in danger is very fun, man has 3 confirmed kills and 2 of them are because his firestar senses were tingling and he had to snap some necks
