as much as it's fun to joke about not wanting new people to join tumblr from twitter after everyone else thought this site was dead or too cringe to make an account on for years, if you're actually an asshole to people who are just trying to use social media to have fun and/or share their content like the rest of us and are adapting to a new platform they're not familiar with then i don't want anything to do with you personally, because it's obvious you're just using this situation as an excuse to be mean spirited dickhead and i don't tolerate that kind of behavior

Agreed, I tend to enjoy multiple POVs and for some reason in CC2 I just...didn’t. Tharion I felt was completely unnecessary. I think I would like Bryce, Hunt, and Ruhn as the only POVs from Midgard. Maybe a bit of Baxion or Ithan, but not all. In CC3 I would say we really only need Feyre and Nesta. Rhys is mostly gonna be around Feyre so I don’t think we need his POV

So I don’t mind so much that we’re going to have a crossover between the CC world and ACOTAR world, there are a lot of things that could be exciting and I’m intrigued to see where SJM takes it. 

However, I don’t know if it was just me… but I found that in CC2 there was waaay too many POVs and some of them were completely unnecessary? As in, they were explaining the same events and sometimes didn’t bring anything to the overall storyline. 

My worry is (after reading various transcripts of the video SJM released) that we’re going to have a million different POVs in CC3. SJM said that when they’re in Prythian it’ll be split between Nesta and Feyre POVs and (obviously) we’ll have Bryce’s as well. But because we all know how much SJM loves Rhys, I’m sure he’ll have a POV too.  And then we have Midgard, and we can pretty safely say that we will have Hunt, Ruhn and Baxian POVs and I’m going to guess Ithan’s as well. That’s at least 8 different people and as someone who doesn’t love multiple perspectives, I’m worried it’s going to be a looot of different info and I’m not sure how enjoyable that will be? 

I know some of the ToG books had a lot of different POVs, but I never found it too much to deal with. But for some reason in CC2 I found the constantly shifting perspectives to be hard to follow and keep up with (and some of them were really not needed). Idk, maybe I’m just being overly critical, and I guess we’ll see when the book comes out 🤷🏼‍♀️

You know, sometimes I read stuff on this site and I am just like…..what are you ON?

Someone said that Feyre doesn’t deserve the title of High Lady, and that she didn’t ‘earn it’. But Viviane is the ‘true High Lady’. 

So let’s see–Viviane protected her people for 50 years. Which is a noble thing to do. But she was born Fae, she was given a little bit of time to hide them, she is 500 years old, and she…didn’t do anything else? Not to take away from her accomplishment, but as someone who was given the reign of power at that moment, isn’t it your responsibility? 

Just like it was the responsibility of the IC to protect Velaris on behalf of Rhys. So should Amren and Mor then be High Ladies too?

Feyre, as a HUMAN, with no power, in her fragile human skin, was tortured and almost went insane, yet kept on fighting.

Feyre saved Prythian from eternal slavery.

Feyre died. She didn’t want to, but she didn’t beg, and she knew that perhaps, with her death, the curse would be broken.

Feyre was insulted, slut shamed horribly, berated and yet chose not to end Tamlin, which is something she could’ve done.

Feyre went to fight in Adriata, having never fought in a battle. 

Feyre helped glamour entire armies, along with Cressida.

Feyre chose to look in a mirror knowing that it may cause madness, only for a chance to have more help during the battle.

Feyre defended the Rainbow all on her own.

Feyre went to Bryaxis to ask for help.

Feyre healed the Cauldron. And lost Rhys.

Vivian arrived in a fur coat to the camp and brought some polar bears.

yknow ever since people realized tumblr isnt dead and have decided to flock here from twitter and tiktok ive seen a huge influx of people in fandom spaces who dont reblog anything. at all.

like, i used to have an art blog with 340 followers. not a ton but not a small amount either given how this website works with creators. and in my experience back then even the ones who only left likes still reblogged other things or at least posted their own stuff. literally the only empty blogs were clearly bots.

but on this New art blog, i've had so many people with fandom-specific headers and icons with actual usernames as urls and some kind of title or description, but have. Nothing. no posts. all they do is like things. and it's always public, too. their following list and their likes list.

and honestly all it makes me think is that these people are New and also don't know how tumblr works. how likes don't give exposure. not even in a "oh, i know it doesn't give exposure, but i'm still going to reblog anyways" way, but in a genuine honest to god straight up doesn't realize tumblr likes don't work like twitter's.

PLEASE please if you're from tiktok or twitter or whatever please reblog people's art both fandom and original if you like it!! and maybe actually pad out your blog's content in some way so people won't potentially see you as a bot and block you.
