the state of alaska also known as the last frontier is a wild and wonderful place full of snow-covered mountains rugged backcountry adventures and tons of different wildlife a trip to the state is one that you'll certainly never forget both my dad and i have had alaska on our bucket list so in june of 2021 exactly two years after our route 66 journey we found ourselves road tripping the state over the course of Eight days during that time we saw the largest peak in the united states in denali national park drove the beautiful route from anchorage to seward soaked in the midnight sun and saw more wildlife than we could comprehend it was a magical experience and here's the full two hour video on that adventure be sure to let me know what you think in the comments and let's dive into it.

The city so anchorage has a planet walk this is mars and you can actually walk and see all of the different planets and how far they are in relation to each other on a very condensed scale if you want to do this trail you can actually walk or bike from the sun to pluto and it takes about five and a half hours it says to walk there we just drove to a few of the closer ones take a walk through the solar system We are at stop number one the sun this is a fun little thing to do if you're traveling with kids in anchorage land of the midnight sun we are here in june which means almost 24 hours of daylight from the sun we went to venus and to earth on our way to snow city cafe by the time we made it back our table was ready do note that it's pretty expensive to park in downtown anchorage if you rent a car Snow city cafe has been a staple in the city since 1998.as we circled the gull Island bird rookery Several varieties of birds nest there through the spring and summer puffins seem to be the favorites of most of those on the cruise after more amazing scenery including glaciers and islands and Far Away volcanoes we arrived in the small village of seldovia it is accessible only by boat or plane seldovia was once a much more thriving Community but the land subsided during the Great Earthquake of 1964. Now only several hundred people live here full time it's a gorgeous place though and when combined with the cruise through the catamac bay makes for a wonderful way to spend the day.
