IPL 2018 Broadcasters List
IPL is the most viewed and entertaining T20 cricket leagues. Cricketers from all over the world participate in IPLT20 every year and which is watched by billions of cricket lovers, especially in India. Sony Entertainment Television and Sony Pictures Network are the official broadcasters and TV channel network for VIVO IPL 2017.
Global broadcasting of IPL to show live on the internet is been allotted to Hotstar.com. BCCI awarded tv channel rights for a time duration period of 10 years in 2008. Hence the current broadcasters list will remain only for the 10th edition of IPL Meanwhile new broadcasting deals and rights will be announced in due course that will begin from IPL 2018.
Indian network SETMax has the global TV rights for IPL till 2017 season and they have sub-licensed rights around the world. In Indian, IPL matches are usually broadcasted live on Set Max or their new HD channel called Sony Six HD. SkySports has a sub-licensed deal with Sony to broadcast IPL games live in the UK while US viewers can watch IPL live via on demand channels through Verizon FiOS, DISH or Hotwire.
