the Grimdark headcanon that Peter Pan is “evil”

he is a Fairy….and despite Disneyfication insisting fairies are sweet and nice….they originally were basically “cute” Eldritch Abominations…they operated on logic entirely alien to humans and were usually appearing to humans with negative intent, Peter really being no exception, given that his entire MO that night was to abduct Wendy’s brothers, he didn’t seem to want her initially until he realized she was coming with them anyway, which we know is a regular thing he does given he has a collection of “lost boys” he’d previously abucted AND apparently one of the things old style Fairies did was steal human children and replace them with Fairy replicas like those birds irl who hide their eggs in the nests of other birds it’s also pretty clear Peter takes kids purely because he wants new playmates and doesn’t really care if they don’t want to be there given he gets pissed when Wendy wants to go home also…if you really pay attention to the way he talks to people, and aren’t just distracted by the movie acting like he’s cute and playful….he’s a jackass

and, HE’S GOT A KNIFE 

so I wouldn’t say he’s “evil”…..but he IS potentially dangerous….like any old-lore Fae Entitiy would be….Wendy wasn’t very bright to be so enamored with him
