These are actually worth checking out
fun fact: a 1984 fan film, "The Wrath of Eukor," experimented with the idea of a female Doctor.

Barbara Benedetti plays an alternate Seventh Doctor in this story, produced by Seattle International Films, as well as three other stories. The full list, including YouTube links:
"The Wrath of Eukor" (1984)
"Visions of Utomu" (1986)
"A Doctor in the House" (1987)
"Broken Doors" (1988)
The final film ended with her regenerating into an alternate Eighth Doctor, played by Michael Santo, but this was their last story.

Omega, despite his sacrifice, still had a hand in their affairs.
It was rather a good joke, he thought, but Rassilon didn't find it funny at all. One night, they had stood among the roses on the tower and watched Omega's death again. The light of the dying star burnt out suddenly in the constellation of Ao, nine point six years after they had watched it on the monitor screens in the control chamber.
Rassilon had wept again. Everything the man did was done for love. But sometimes love was remarkably short-sighted.

being an eighth doctor adventures fan is so hard. how do i explain to people that i want them to read an unfinished postmodernist series of 73 pulp science fiction novels from the early 2000s that's made up of a bunch of writers arguing about how to best fundamentally deconstruct dr who as a concept

the best period of doctor who is in the late 90s/early 2000s when it was just a bunch of books written by gay people and none of the higher ups cared enough about the franchise being palatable to a wide audience to stop them from saying dr who was gay

lately I’ve been thinking a lot about how Gallifrey would have been fantastic material for a graphic novel, so here’s my version of a front cover for the first story

Nightcrawler doesn’t give a shit how sad you are, Brian, you still almost hit your girlfriend.

I’m sure he gets better but like, “processing grief by getting drunk and being abusive” is not a good way to introduce one of your leads. And Meggan is such a cinnamon roll like fuck you man.
Anyway Kurt drinks way too much Respect Women Juice to let any of that fly.

Welp the bi-generated Doctorverse makes The 5 Doctors kinda make more sense, but unfortunately does not make it less boring
