Honestly, I have a bit of trouble coming up with interesting headcanons, but here's my take on pre-college Shane. I imagine he was a temperamental problem kid, but found happiness playing Gridball. That made him kinda popular and genuinely a calmer kid until things started to go wrong for him over time.

edit: I like to think that he's gotten into every kind of trouble you can imagine, he's fought a lot, lied, skipped class, stolen shit from stores, gone to the principal's office literally every week for a different reason, he's even had problems with the police at one time or another. He wasn't a bully, I'm sure of that. He's probably protected a lot of people from jerks in unfair situations and ended up getting punched in the face because of it, but that's okay with him, he's used to it.

I Tried a different color style for this sketch as a warm up, It didn't turn out quite how I wanted, but I think I'll keep trying to figure out how to make it work 🐔
