FGISC Celebrates Anniversary Through Immigration Expo

Formerly known as Fil-Global Ltd., Fil-Global Immigration Services Corp. once again celebrated their anniversary with a blast.

As per last year’s event, the company celebrated the launch of Fil-Global Immigration Services Corp. and company’s anniversary through a private wine and cheese night. In celebration of their 4th-year anniversary, the company hosted an event that would encourage people to study, work or live abroad.

The company welcomed the public with a keynote entitled “First Fil-Global Immigration EXPO 2018” last July 10th, from 2pm to 6pm at the 4th flr. of Times Plaza Building, UN Ave., Ermita, Manila. The event aimed to educate the public about the opportunities that the company and its partners may cater to them, share the innovations of the company within their four successful years in the industry, promote the progress of the immigration industry in the Philippines and the company as well and lastly, foster and strengthen cooperation and communication within the company, the partners and the public as well.

With those objectives in mind, the event was concluded as a successful one because the company accomplished each. Not to mention that the audience were very participative and cheerful. Everybody were fixated and engaged to the speech of each speakers and the program intrinsically prepared by the company’s staff.

The program flow began with an opening prayer lead by Mr. Martin John Ranis, the Senior Sales Manager of FGISC and followed by national anthem. Upon opening remarks, Mr. Bertch Ian Ranis, the Managing Director of FGISC welcomed the speakers and thanked everyone who were able to attend the event. Then the first batch of speakers were introduced which included Ms. Divine Grace Lacuna, a representative from Niagara College and Mr. Alex Martinez, a representative from EDUCO. The second and last batch of speakers were  followingly introduced which included Ms. Chelo Naomi Elemia, a representative from Cornelle; Ms. Karina Kristine San Juan, a representative from UCAM and lastly, Ms. Jacques Quejayco, a representative from ICAE. For the closing remarks, Mr. Joseph Basa, the Finance Director of FGISC thanked everyone who made the event a reality and the company’s partners that supported the event.

‘Success Through Synergy’: FGISC Hosted Annual Team Building

Outdoor cultivation, indoor progress is the Fil-Global Immigration Services Corporation’s (FGISC) way of organizing their annual team building at Timberland Heights, San Mateo, Rizal, last July 7-8, 2018.

As part of the two-day event, the FGISC assembled a company team building with basketball and volleyball games as a preliminary to the course. These were promptly succeeded by the main program–an evaluation of creativity among five teams through a construction of a jingle, a vision, a mission, and core values purveyed insight into the employees’ current and short-term goals as measured against their long-term outlook.

The winning team prevailed with three proposed core values with emphasis on the provision of excellence through the delivery of exemplary service and sustainable customer satisfaction; the valuing of authenticity by working with facts and accuracy; and the striking of a balance between professionalism and moral uprightness. The triumphant mission was to become a world-class company that provides opportunities and assistance to reach remarkable dreams and goals.

The active and spirited exercise continued on with a game of Marshmallow Spaghetti Tower to exploit the employees’ leadership abilities in building the tallest freestanding structure, lasting for 18-minutes. The activity was a way to enlighten the team regarding the weighing of the vital aspects of all projects-the needs of all clients, the cost of all services, and the challenges in the communities to be served, and incorporating those altogether to maintain the stability. Moreover, a showcase of looks and intelligence happened in the Mr. & Ms. Fil-Global 2018 contest, trailed by a dance competition that focused on the empowerment of self-esteem and the enhancement of social awareness.

As the event comes to an end, a look back on the whole journey of the team was made emotional by the remembering the obstacles that once hampered the now enlightened team members – truly a remembrance of the objectives started with and stayed for.

To show appreciation and recognition to the employees for their performance and participation, the subsequent titles were awarded to the respective receivers on the following morning, July 8th: Ms. & Mr. Congeniality to Mary Emylou Aboy and Joshua Manucot, Basketball Competition Championship to Team Pura; Brainstorming Championship to Team Freaky; Most Valuable Player to Renzo Abalos; Marshmallow and Spaghetti Tower Championship to Team Elite; Ms. & Mr. Fil-Global to Mary Shawn Paradela and Jayvee Basa; and Miss Aura to Agnes Manuel.  

Keeping the event’s significance in mind, the obtaining of teamwork in an open paves way for progress behind closed doors. As what Vince Lombardi said, “Individual commitment to a group effort – that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.”

Fil-Global Immigration Services Corp. is a company that started out in London (August 11, 2014) and branched out in the Philippines offering immigration and university placement to the UK, NZ, SPN, AUS, CAN, US. The company was founded by Managing Director Bertch Ian Ranis, with the aid of the company’s Finance Director, Joseph Basa.

It was formerly labeled as Fil-Global Healthcare Marketing because the first mission of the company was to be a helping hand to those healthcare professionals who want to go abroad. The company was originally founded in London, because the founding person is a product of London School of Commerce. London School of Commerce is the first partner of Fil-Global Immigration Services Corp. as well. After a year or so, the company branched out in the Philippines gaining an office in Cebu in 2015. In the same year, the company moved to an office where a lot of people can reach them better, in One Ecom Mall of Asia, Manila. After two years of serving people in Manila, the company then moved to its recent location which is at 12/F Regus Times Plaza Building, UN Ave., Ermita, Manila.

From being a single office operating company, Fil-Global has expanded in the other areas of the Philippines as well. They have five more branches aside from their office in Manila: one physical office in Dumaguete (established October 2016) and in Cagayan de Oro (established April 2017) and three satellite offices: Cebu (established 2015), in Davao (established June 2017) and in Pampanga (established June 2017).

Fil-Global Immigration Services Corporation has helped a lot of people. Approximately 120 clients have been sent abroad. Might it be student visa, immigrant visa, family visa, fiance visa, working visa and US-J1 internships.

In November 2015, Fil-Global started offering Australia and New Zealand student programs. In March 14, 2016, the company started offering GSM Programs.

The first member of the company was dated back in October 7, 2014. Followed by the first approval that occurred just a few days after earning their first member, October 24, 2014.
