GUIDE: ATTACKING PART 1
Firstly we’re gonna go through the basics of what to do BEFORE attacking.
1. ALWAYS SEND A SCOUT BEFORE ATTACKING. Make sure your scout research (under combat) is at the max level that it can be. Ideally, level 10. The reason behind this is once your scout is at level 10, it will tell you an exact number of reinforcing troops, War Rallied troops, and reveals active boosts an Empire has.
This is extremely important because even if an empire is at 10,000 power, it can still be reinforced A LOT by stronger players who have mercenaries. This is why you want to scout before taking any further action, so you can see how many troops are reinforcing them and WHAT TYPE of troops they are.
2. AVOID ATTACKING PLAYERS WHO HAVE ANTI-SCOUT ON. This is situational, but most of the time, you should stay away from empires that don’t let them scout you. Use this also to your advantage, because even bigger players usually avoid attacking empires they cannot scout.
3. NEVER SEND YOUR HERO ON THE FIRST ATTACK. This goes without saying. How this game works is you’d have an extremely high chance of defeating enemies just by sitting there and taking a hit. Defense is very important because I’ve seen time and time again 20 million power empires hit 10 million power empires AND STILL LOSE THEIR HERO.
4. BUILD UP A LOT OF SIEGES. A LOT. To put into perspective, I’ve gone into battle with 35,000 tier 3 sieges to take down 10,000 Tier 1 traps and LOST. MULTIPLE TIMES. It took me 3 waves to get the traps down to half its original amount. You WILL lose a lot of power. However, you wouldn’t even get to touch that empire’s troops until ALL THE TRAPS ARE GONE.
Sieges are the only way you can get traps down. (There are mercenary troops that are specialized in taking down traps but for now our focus is normal troops).
Now, if that person has GUARDIAN MERCENARIES, that’s a completely different story.
GUARDIANS GET HIT BEFORE TRAPS.
If the person you scouted has 10,000 frost guardians/crownsguardians, you will have to wound or kill ALL 10,000 of them before you can even touch their TRAPS.
Crownsguardians or other mercenary type troops will be discussed in further detail in a future post.

GUIDE: GHOST RALLYING
Ghost rallying in short is a defense tactic you use to save your troops and hero from being captured if you are out of empire barriers (bubbles).
How do I ghost rally?
Pick a farm account or any random weak guild-ed empire and press rally on it.
Pick “8 HOURS” as your rally time. However long the period of time you pick, that’s how long your troops and hero will be invulnerable.
SEND YOUR HERO WITH THE RALLY.
If your hero is captured right now and you still want to protect any of your troops, DO THE SAME THING.
Ghost rallies make the troops and hero you sent UNATTACKABLE.
Important to remember: Guildmates can’t send multiple rallies to the same person. If Guildmate X already has an active rally on Empire A, Guildmate Y cannot send a rally to Empire A also.

GUIDE: UPKEEP & TROOPS
Building troops are the quickest way to raise your power!
DO MY TROOPS STARVE IF THE UPKEEP IS MORE THAN MY FOOD OUTPUT AND MY FOOD BECOMES ZERO?
NO! YOUR TROOPS NEVER STARVE! MYTH!
Once you get to citadel 20 is when I say go all out with building up your troops.
Before then, you will still need a lot of food to build and research.
REMEMBER: Once you start hyper-training troops, your food will CONSTANTLY BE ZERO.
REMEMBER: KEEP ALL YOUR RESOURCE ITEMS FROM CHESTS ETC. IN YOUR INVENTORY. ONLY CLICK “USE” WHEN YOU NEED THEM.
IF YOU ARE HYPER-TRAINING TROOPS, YOUR UPKEEP WILL BE NEGATIVE AND YOUR FOOD IN YOUR RESOURCE BAR WILL CONSTANTLY FLASH RED AND BE EATEN. It is extremely important you save those resource items in your inventory and only use them when you’re wanting to build or research.

TIP: HOW TO GET FREE 24 HOUR EMPIRE BARRIERS
Build 10 farms/mines/quarries/energy extractors/banks/barracks/hospital wards.
Doing each of these will give you ONE 24-hour empire barrier each time.
MAKE SURE ALL TEN OF THEM ARE PUT DOWN AT THE SAME TIME. YOU CAN’T BUILD AND DECONSTRUCT 10 TIMES ON THE SAME SPOT.
Collect your empire barrier in your completed empire quests!

GUIDE: CRAFTING GOOD EQUIPMENT
DON’T KEEP CRAFTING WILLY NILLY!
Click on your armory, click combine, and then you can combine any materials or gems you have.
4 of each material will make 1 of a higher level material/gem!
WHAT DO THOSE NUMBERS AND PERCENTAGES AND DIFFERENT COLORS MEAN?
The percentages are the chance you have of getting that specific color equipment. The higher the percentage, the higher the chance of crafting that specific color equipment.
The colors range from grey - yellow, yellow being the highest quality and give you the most boosts.
HOW DO I INCREASE MY CHANCES OF CRAFTING A SPECIFIC QUALITY EQUIPMENT?
Each equipment needs 4 material components to be crafted. Example: If you are aiming for a yellow quality equipment, make sure each component is yellow!

GUIDE : GETTING TO CITADEL 20
The most important resource to get here is stone and energy!
I know ya’ll must have built more farms than anything else, but try to prioritize stone and energy.
The deal with upgrading your citadel is, you need 1 of each farm, quarry, energy extractor, mine, bank, hospital ward and barracks to be at their max level.
Example: if you are currently citadel 19, all of those need to be level 19 also before you can begin upgrading any other building.
TIP: DON’T USE EVERY RESOURCE ITEM IN YOUR INVENTORY! ONLY CLICK “USE” WHEN YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED THEM!
Every empire has a RESOURCE CAPACITY. You can check this by clicking on your farm/mine/quarry etc and it’s listed under EMPIRE CAPACITY.
Example: If your empire capacity for stone is 100k, and you have 1 million currently in your resource bar, YOUR QUARRIES WILL STOP PRODUCING THAT STONE UNTIL YOUR STONE GOES BELOW 100K. Leveling up all your quarries will increase the empire capacity.
