Improvement doesn't happen in a day, it just happens in a flash. Reminds me of a feature I've heard artificers use on occasion. A flash of genius if you will. Quick witted bastards they are, always knowing how to meddle and be right.

Dorky digressions aside a lot of how I improve how I notice is trying to replicate from other artists and how their process works. Or at least gain insight aaaaa see what i did there? bad joke. Anyways trying to figure out how their brain perceived the drawing and how they visualize it is definitely a good way to figure out how to draw specific things better. I noticed that in most art pieces the eye socket tends to be a stencil. The eyes while not being my best work have definitely gotten some amount of cohesion to it more when using this tactic (where before I was just winging it to the max). Helps that I've remembered that the skull exists and that they have eye sockets. I haven't figured out the bottom half of eyes yet but I will soon(tm). Additional notes for myself to research and study -Facial emotion -the skull's contributions -Work on head and face anatomy (anatomy in general really but focusing on one group at a time and starting with head) -Hair -Eyes -Nose -Ears (traditional and animal yahoo) -Perspective > Outfit Source < (Seriously this outfit fucks dude)

I have to draw a lot of gold and metal for my work, but wasn't happy with any of the metal tutorials i could find around. I prefer really specific instruction, so after some research i put together what i think works as a generalist's guide/tutorial. Not perfectly accurate, but i hope it's helpful!
