Love your games, me and my friends played peeb, and thought it was cool but when we saw nowhere Michigan, I think we all fell in love with it. Can I ask what was the inspiration for the 3D models turned into sprites for the npcs? I really like them! Hope you have a good day! (Also orbo’s exodus demo was awesome!)

Thank you, I'm glad you and your friends enjoy my work! The decision to give Nowhere prerendered NPCs came from a general desire to branch off from the game's origins as a crypt worlds love letter. Seeing as the game's UI and its deuteragonist - Concord - were already paving the road on that front, I chose to make the characters prerendered as well! I'm aiming for a clay look on the NPCs since it reflects how James only recognizes the townsfolk in hazy detail, hence why the NPCs' animations make it appear like the clay is being reshaped every frame.

We hope you get my message while you're doing well. We, (Najwa, Jana, Farah, and Maryam), the sisters of Khalid Ash-Shawwah, who was martyred on 07/31/24 along with Al Jazeera correspondent Ismail Al-Ghoul.

Before the IDF killed our only brother Khalid, they forced us to evacuate our house and leave everything behind. They then destroyed our house and our father’s restaurant. We had to move at least 10 times since every new area we seek refuge to gets destroyed by the IDF.

what inspired the way you write orbo and peeb? the way their characters foil and hit off of each other is hilarious

They're one of those "straight-guy and crazy-guy" dynamics, but Orbo's dialog/personality is modeled off of how I speak/write while Peeb's dialog/personality is based on a mixture of spongebob, early 2000s scenekid speak, and a few of my friends who shall not be named. Hope that helps!

Im glad you managed to find your passion project! I look forward to playing Nowhere, MI (Once my computer stops flagging every itchi.o game as a virus for some fucking reason). I’ll miss Peeb, but I’m excited to see him struggle to fly a plane in Orbo’s Exodus XD
