our government (Iran) has been already killed over 1500 Iranian citizens last 2 months during a simple protest, Iranian government wouldn’t care if we(Iranian people)die. in fact they would be pleased by your action (because a lot of Iranian citizens wants to change the regime), if a war starts our government would put us (Iranian innocent people who had to do nothing with all of this)in first line and not themselves, so you would kill millions of us and not them. Guys, I am from a third world country, and that is true. It is hard to find good centres that are cheap to pay and not all teach different languages, mostly english. If you want to learn another language, for example french, in my case, I have to travel for 1 hour in a crowded bus and half an hour by feet to get there.

U kno what???? Honestly?? All jokes side about the Duolingo owl, Duolingo is one of the only language education services I know of that doesn’t charge for the full course and I really think we don’t appreciate that enough in a world where knowledge is severely (and increasing) restricted based on income. I just went through the app store and downloaded every language app I can find, and the only two that didn’t charge hefty subscription fees to access all the lessons were duolingo and memrise. Support free education.

Being from a first world country is easier in all the ways

i dont think whites understand how being white makes literally everything easier.

it effects everything.

being trans is easier when youre white.

being gay is easier when youre white.

being disabled is easier when youre white.

being a woman is easier when youre white.

being autistic is easier when youre white.

oppression is eased when you are white, as you get extra privileges, and your whiteness is seen as a positive characteristic that in some ways counter-balances your other forms of being a minority. whiteness controls everything.

you are automatically way more innocent in your own oppression as a gay, trans, disabled person because of your whiteness.
