"In the last dance of chances, We shall know each other's minds. We shall part with our regrets, When the tie no longer binds." - Robin Hobb About the digital painting : The crow is a harbinger of change; spiritual, mental and emotional. They unite both the light and the dark, the spiritual and physical and announces a newness on the horizon without a sense of time. The tattoo reads in Hindi : "The old must be released so that the new can enter." - Kali पुराने को जारी किया जाा चाहिए ताकि नया प्रवेश क सके

Eternal Recurrence
"Our quest, our earth walk, is to look within, to know who we are, to see that we are connected to all things, that there is no separation, only in the mind."
- Native American, source unknown
About : Eternal Recurrence is a concept where the universe, all existence and energy has been recurring and will continue to recur in a self-similar form an infinite number of times across time and space. The concept makes time move circular instead of linear. We had to think of this because at the turn of each season I feel the same different emotions while creating artwork. It makes me wonder how restricted our range of human emotions exactly is. But every year around this time our artwork tends to get a little bit too brightly colored by the influence of summer, it is only after summer that we come to our senses and find the right tone. With this one we wanted to be ahead of that feeling, to be aware of our 'eternal recurrence' and to find our mojo before autumn starts. The cube as platonic solid represents earth. The tattoo says "The soul can never be cut to pieces by any weapon, nor burned by fire, nor moistened by water, nor withered by the wind" in Hindi. - Bhagavad Gita

On finishing this piece, we had to think of that old Jack London phrase about the wild "..the masterful wisdom of eternity laughing at the futility of life..". Which sounds a bit harsh but to us it's a beautiful description of accepting pain and suffering as the tender-hearted part of our human experience. And often the acceptance of the negative gives way to the positive. About the digital painting : Sweet Sorrow. "Were all stars to disappear or die, I should learn to look at an empty sky, And feel its total dark sublime, Though this might take me a little time." -W.H. Auden The tattoo says in Hindi : "This moment is all there is." -Rumi #feralplains #artwork #newcontemporary #magicrealism #art #kunst #digitalpainting #digitalart #blackbirds #birds #birdistheword #black #sorrow #stars #instart #life #instagood #instamood #girl #love

"oh my darling, it's true. beautiful things have dents and scratches too."
Sacred geometry : - platonic solids - golden spiral : The role of the Fibonacci sequence in the growth of plants is an example of the unifying order behind all creation. These patterns exist at all levels and permeate the universe, reminding us that the same swirling energy is shaping flowers, spinning galaxies,.. and our own DNA.

“Understand me. I’m not like an ordinary world. I have my madness, I live in another dimension and I do not have time for things that have no soul.”- Charles Bukowski
Sacred Geometry used :
Part of the 64 Tetrahedron (cuboctahedron) aka the Vector Equilibrium by Buckminster Fuller. It is the zero-phase from which all other forms emerge. With all vectors being exactly the same length and angular relationship, from an energetic perspective, the VE represents the ultimate and perfect condition wherein the movement of energy comes to a state of absolute equilibrium, and therefore absolute stillness and nothingness.

Ophiuchus
“She always had that about her, that look of otherness, of eyes that see things much too far, and of thoughts that wander off the edge of the world.”- Joanne Harris
Astrology : Ophiuchus is used in sidereal astrology as a thirteenth sign in addition to the twelve signs of the tropical Zodiac, because the eponymous constellation Ophiuchus (Serpent-bearer") as defined by the 1930 IAU constellation boundaries is situated behind the sun from November 30 to December 18.

As above, So below
Sacred Geometry used :
- Merkaba. The pyramid pointing upwards connects to universal energy & represents yang, positive energy. The downward pyramid connects to earth and resonates with yin, negative energy. Mer-Ka-Ba means light-spirit-body denoting the harmonious activation of the 3 fields. When Merkaba is active your DNA is fully turned on. Your soul excels. Your body heals itself & you have the potential for limitless creation.
- Phases of the Moon.

Saudade, accommodates in one word the haunting desire for a lost love, or for an imaginary, impossible, never-to-be-experienced love. Whether the object has been lost or will never exist, it feels the same to the seeker, and leaves them in the same place: a desire with no future. Saudade doesn’t distinguish between a ghost, and a fantasy. Nor do broken hearts. © Feral Plains
