No, legit, it's going well. I'm just a perfectionist and tend to over extend myself for the 4.0 GPA and just kinda die a little on the inside. Fortunately, I'm done with classes and my enroute Masters after this semester (THANK GOD) and will be focusing on research for the remainder of my PhD so it should be less....hellish.

on winter break at the moment, so of course i’m re-reading LOTN again :) don’t know if you can answer this lol, but on a scale from 1-10, how excited/worried should we be for this wedding? i just have this feeling something bad will happen 😭

what inspired you to write LOTN? it’s such an intricate plot and i’ve always wondered how you came up with it :)

Ironically enough LOTN was originally just a freeform thought project that I wanted to do to get some ideas down on paper (hence the horrendous editing of early chapters). Honestly, I remember reading the whole thing about Rhys's Mother and Sister and was like "Hmmm what event would deal a similar blow to the guy?" and my mind went off on an evil tangent that ended in lots of maniacal laughter and "that's diabolical" and then it just turned into a....thing. The first iteration of this story was actually much much sadder and darker but it kinda just took on it's own form and became what it is now. Roomie taking one look and Gandriel and being like "Yea, no, that man is an idiot" did a LOT to change the tone too. I also wrote this partially too because I really love the ACOTAR world and characters but wasn't always as impressed with the storyline and kinda wanted to see what I could do with it? Like, no shade to Sara (she's a fab author) but I just wanted to try and put my twist on things for funsies.

Gandriel is a 100% Rocky but TOTES was the back up for Franken N Furter. Let's be real with the shape shifting? We know this man would pull NO punches.

hi! just wanted to say how much i adore LOTN, i’ve just recently caught up and i have to say it’s one of the best stories i’ve read in a long time! you’re an amazing writer and i can’t believe how complex the plot is :)

i can’t wait for the next chapter! things are definitely starting to get serious (poor isabelle).
