He'd brought her to here. To Amaurot. A haunting of his own making. Even from their vantage high on one of the buildings, she could see the ghosts of Ancients as they carried on as though they remained alive. His foot scuffed as he turned to gauge her reaction.

This whole time, these months of traveling beside him, her hands had been clammy and her nerves frayed just by his potential presence. Now it was only them...alone on a top of a building created from his memories. One wrong move and either of them would be at their end, and still...

Vesper turned slowly, "Emet..."

"Hm?" His head tilted, eyes narrowing as she stepped closer and brought his hands to his cheeks. They were dry, warm, as they wrapped around his face. Her own eyes narrowed as she gazed deeply into his eyes.

"You're a psychopath." she said succinctly. Her fingers tapped against his cheek before she nodded.

Emet-Selch's head turned within her hands, his brow creasing before he chuckled, "At least," he tapped her nose before crossing his arms once more, "I'm on a path, babe." He tutted at her like one would a misbehaving child, "Sort your life out."
