【Seoul=Newsis】reporter Jo In Woo = Group BTS’ best moment was watched by more than 15,000 fans.
BTS who performed in Seoul Bangi-dong Olympic Park Gymnastics Gymnasium on 7th May, they couldn’t hold back their deep emotions.
Jimin: “I didn’t think that we’d make it here. This is the dream stage for people who are starting, right. I feel happy, I feel touched and I feel sad at the same time. There are so many emotions so it’s hard to put it in one.”
Rap Monster: “The present is beautiful too but, I hope this won’t be the most beautiful moment. I hope that the present becomes the moment of turning the first chapter of a HYYH book.”
In the video released on the concert ‘HYYH On Stage’: Epilogue, Jimin says: “we’re spending the happiest moment in life.” Suga says while showing self-confidence: “I believe that we’ll have a brighter future.”
Last year, BTS’ most beautiful moment began with HYYH pt.1, then HYYH pt.2 and the special album HYYH: Young Forever.
From their first concert venue AX-KOREA to Olympic Park Olympic Hall - Handball Gymnasium, BTS entered the Gymnastics Gymnasium with all the tickets being sold out. This is the dream stage that idol groups yearn for along with debut. It’s the evidence that they’re standing on the top. Within a year, Jin stood his word that they would stand on a bigger venue.
The concert venue was filled with fans holding their ARMY Bomb, heated with fans’ enthusiasm. And the members were touched by their love. The fans set the record of ‘all sold out’ within 2 days.
Rap Monster: “I thought, if there is HYYH (for us), when is the beginning? When we debuted, when we received the awards, when we got our first #1, there are many moments but I think the moment we first met you all is the beginning of HYYH. Thank you for being together with us in our most beautiful moment of life.”
“It’s the best concert,” Suga continues.
They started with ‘RUN’, then ‘Butterfly’, ‘Boy In Luv’, ‘Hiphop Lover’, ‘Baepsae’, ‘Dope’, ‘Ma City’, ‘Attack on BTS’, ‘Fun Boyz’ and so on, the passionate performances seemed as if there are no tomorrow.
Suga: “I can say this is the concert that includes all of our ‘HYYH’ series up till now.”
Jin: “I’m so happy that we can show everything without regret.”
On the day, BTS performed their new songs ‘Save Me’, ‘Epilogue: Young Forever’ and the most tiring choreography according to Jin – the title song ‘Fire’ for the first time. It has only been 5 days since the new songs were released, but the fans in the venue followed and sang along with every song and cheered for BTS’ HYYH.
Suga: “Honestly, I was so touched that everyone followed and sang with us. Everyone was amazing.”
Jimin: “I was able to perform with courage thanks to everyone’s cheering. Thank you for loving us.”
Suga: “We talked about the Gymnastics Stadium like a dream, it has started to become the reality, so I’m starting to become relaxed and get more desires. I think this moment will be an honor that I’ll never forget until I die.”
Jimin: “If one feels happy, that’s HYYH. Like now, continuing to stand on the stage with all of you is our HYYH. Now we’ve only performed in the Gymnastics Gymnasium, and we’ll show you more in the future. We’ll gain strength by doing nicer things together.”
BTS’ HYYH, the best moment starts from now.
Their 2nd concert is on the 8th and from June, they’ll start their Asia tour, visiting 7 countries, 10 cities, Taiwan, Macao, China (Nanjing and Beijing), Japan (Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo), Philippines Manila, Thailand Bangkok and so on.
“Our next goal is to win the Daesang award. Instead of feeling scared or anxious, we’ll enjoy the (moment of) glory.” Hoping that BTS’ HYYH won’t easily fade away. Let’s continue to run.

How BTS changed since debut
RAP MONSTER: My character has become vivid and my face seems smaller. I feel refreshed, so now you can see my dimples which wasn’t visible. I love to smile more now and I seem to have nice smiling features. In the past, my hairstyle, the sunglasses and my lips seemed noticeable, it also seemed very dark.
SUGA: I wore culottes and bandanas; you can say it was too much. Too much accessorizes and the stiffness was the past. Now I got rid off the bandana, my hairstyle is gentle. I think the stiffness has changed, my face also has opened up.
JIN: A year ago I didn’t know anything about my appearance. I was always anxious. Now the anxiousness has disappeared and I’m always smiling.
J-HOPE: I wore a mask, gave a strong impression. The image of hope hope is clearer. Now without a mask, showing my bright smile. I laughed too much so the laugh lines on both sides of my cheeks are showing (ㅠㅠ). Hope has elapsed. I became more handsome because I received the love of ARMYs. The difference between debut days is that my hair color has changed!
JIMIN: Although what I’ve drawn is a bit exaggerated. I had no confidence a year ago. I got scared because I had to show myself in front of people. But now, I’m not like that. I want to show off myself so I’ve became more lively and I want to develop myself.
V: My Adam’s apple didn’t grow that much, so I looked like a kid. I was always nervous. Now I’m like a man, my Adam’s apple is obvious and a lot of my baby fat has gone too. My personality has been exposed a lot, that’s to reduce the nervousness.
JUNGKOOK: A year ago, I seemed shy and I didn’t have any thoughts. It felt like I was drifting along all day. Now that I’ve grown and I’ve changed my hair color, I’m also more mature. I feel calm and I’m able to show passion through my eyes.
