Hello! I just had a thought that now won't go away. So if you know Harry Potter you ought to know the curse called avada kedavra, which is basically a insta-kill spell. If Vince were to get hit with it would he or would he not die?

((Hmm... No suggestions, honestly.  I haven’t played either my DS or 3DS in years, so I’m not sure if I can really help you with that.  Sorry, my friend!  But, that’s wonderful you can edit models, and can tinker around with the dialogue.  It’d certainly be an interesting concept for Vince to be in other games.))

Heyoo! I saw the ramble about Madam Charmaine being inherited with the zombie dust or can create zombie dust on her own, I saw this manual that said she gets shipment of the dust from her ancient homeland, I suggest looking up this manual, its really fleshed out in detail and design, and information. So I recommend checking it out!

((I actually remember seeing something about that on the Voodoo Vince wiki!  I’ll check out the manual at some point, I’m glad to hear that they’ve fleshed out their characters beyond what is shown in the game.))

My headcanon for Vince when he gets stressed out is that he tends to get really hot-headed and scrappy.  He’s not the most mild-tempered, but when he feels incredibly anxious about certain things, it’s a quick hot flash of anger that he lets out before cooling down.  It seems like he’s pretty quick to forget about certain problems when the conflict solves itself; like how he just forgets about trying to catch Prof. Ethel once he got to where he needed to go on his journey.

Not a whole lot comes to mind with this one, but I think it’s fair to say that Vince is pretty good about regulating his mental wellbeing despite the weird stuff that happens throughout the game.  Albeit, he might be a bit more shook if he were to be in an environment that is completely different than what he’s used to.  There would be a lot of questions from him.

I like to imagine that post-game Vince becomes a bit more like Madame Charmaine’s moody teenage son.  He still acts like a loyal assistant to her, but I get the feeling he’d say “It’s not a phase, boss!” At some point.

As one could probably tell by the end cutscene of the game, Vince is super curious about how Charmaine made him, why she made him look the way he does, etc.  He probably kept chatting her ear off the whole way home.

Quick fact that nobody asked for. I did a little research on stuff like google and pinterest and turns out the pins on Vince's head actually have meaning. (Now from what I can see the colors are black, purple and green.) Black pins mean the doll is used to summon or dis spell dark magic, purple is used for contact of the spirit realm, and green is for ferality, money, and succession in life.

((I’m a bit rusty on what I looked up on Voodoo, or I guess it’s Vodou (if we’re going with strictly Haitian Vodou), but I’m not surprised that there were was symbolism in Vince’s design.  The creators of Voodoo Vince, from what I heard, put a lot of the New Orleans voodoo culture in their game.))

((Kind of a random thought that just occurred to me... Would it be too much of a miss to assume Madame Charmaine has some sort of immunity to Zombie Dust? Like, in the end of the game when you beat Kosmo- she just straight up bats away the Zombie Dust when Kosmo tries using it on her like it was some kind of annoying housefly! It’d make sense that she’d be immune, though—

((I don’t know if Madame Charmaine inherited the Zombie Dust, or is the only one who knows how to make it. However, I think having so much to do with the stuff would mean she’d know damn well how to defend herself against it if someone tried using it on her. Idk, I just woke up...))

Hey Vince, it's been a while, has it? Wanted to send an ask since it's been around forever since the last time. Have you ever fallen in love? And if so, how did it feel like?

“Eh, time tends to pass pretty quickly when you aren’t counting the days.  It’s not like I’ve really had a lot going on either.”

“I can’t really say I’ve been genuinely in love.  I mean, the girls down at Madame Coffman’s were friendly and all, but I’m pretty sure that doesn’t count.  Being a ten-inch sapient voodoo doll who’s already loyal to one lady doesn’t exactly sound all that appealing in the dating scene, y’know?  Not a lot of opportunities, time, or matches.”

((For whatever reason, I kinda made this blog with the headcanon Vince was ace/aro, but maybe the ace part is something I’ll keep.  Not sure about if he even would be interested in getting shipped, but I guess we’ll see down the road.))

((Are you considered obscure, though?  I mean, most people who were around for the Xbox, and Xbox 360 era probably still remember you.  They just might not be on this website.))

“Well, I guess it has been quite a while since my remake.  But, at least it’s compatible with the Xbox One!  Anyways, this year hasn’t exactly been a good one.  In fact, it was a load of crap.  So, if I had any last words for this year, it would be good riddance!”

“Okay!  You know the verse, same as the first,” Vince prompted once he was assured that Lily could continue.  

The voodoo doll was anxious as he and Lily repeatedly shot up into the air and smacked down onto the crowbar.  The satisfaction of hearing the lid pop open was motivational to him, but the cynical doubt of finding something useful lingered as he peeked into the crate.

“Geez, you’d think the last people who came in here would at least sort out this crap...” Vince complained, shaking his head disapprovingly at all of the old toys caked in years-worth of dust that were crammed in the crate. “I guess the owner didn’t have time to unpack the shipment.  But, it’s better than nothing.”

Without hesitation, Vince dove straight into the pile of old toys in a search for anything they could. use.  Vince’s ideal find would have been something modern, functional, and remote-controlled--Unsurprising, given his tendency to be a bit lazy.
