Whoever thought it was a good idea to tell Aryll that she can use a shield to go down hills was probably regretting it now. Aryll, however, thought it was a really fun idea! Why she hadn’t thought of that herself, she didn’t know. But what she did know was that if she thought it was fun, chances are likely that other kids would as well! Well, the older kids anyway. She’d definitely get a telling off by the parents if she tried to get the younger kids to participate in this as well. (She had gotten into trouble for much worse, however.)

However, she was going to need someone to actually push her and the shield towards the edge of the hill to get a headstart. Which was how this conversation had started out, but now she was actually “guiding” (more like dragging) the unfortunate(?) other towards a hill, a huge long-dead knight’s shield in her free hand. It was a miracle that she could lift it; but it was probably her excitement helping out with it too.

“ It’ll be fun, and not very dangerous, I promise! I just wanna try it out, and I’ll let ya have a turn too after me if ya want! Or, maybe you could fit onto this shield too and we can go down together! But I don’t mind. “
