❛  hey, umm ... thank you for being my friend.  ❜
Tifa took Aerith's hands in her own. The warmth of the flower girls' hands in her own reminded her just how close they were. She offered a smile, why would she need to be thanked for that? It was an honor for the monk to be considered her friend. "Thank you," she countered. "You're always so positive. You know how to see the good in almost anything, and I'm glad, even with the craziness, you still find joy in being friends."

Tifa took a moment to think as heard the question. She noted his appearance, bright eyes but skin paler than the dead. There was no doubt that ShinRa had gotten to him, even if it was a while back. It made her curious if he was a SOLDIER, but as of right now, he was her client. "Unfortunately, most of our wine options have been out of stock for a while," she tried to think of a solution but could only offer with a smile, "I can make almost any other drink if you want, however."
a smidge more than a single line ; @fearlessmonk !

“have you anything . . . redder than this?”  ( as in, redder than the red wine already in his glass. )

Business partner - that caused Tifa to wonder even more who was involved in what. Though, today was meant for joy and cheer for the couple to be wed. She would be sure that it's the last thing on her mind, and conversing with the other wedding-goers would definitely spark some charm for the event. The monk had always been a sucker for weddings and the kind of engagements, but attending few as there was nowadays, she wasn't sure the appropriate way to celebrate.
It was true, the ceremony was one of the most lovely she had ever attended. And yes, the food was honestly some of Tifa's favorite. It was a nice change from sector seven, even when food at home carried that extra bit of charm that made it home. She took his words and thought for a moment, nodding along with the sentiment. She quickly nodded when he offered his name and bowed in return as she introduced herself. "Tifa Lockhart!" She may have said it a little too loudly after her drinks, but it didn't matter much. "It's a pleasure."
Her eyes bounced from him, to the people dancing along with the live music that surrounded them. She sighed, almost longingly, but it wasn't normally like her to just jump out and take the stage. Though, she smiled and hummed along to the music as she continued conversation with her new acquaintance. "Have you been married?" She dared to ask after another sip of the drink she held. "I don't know if my own wedding would be this big, but it's nice to dream. I think my style would be a little quieter, but I applaud the couple!"
It almost felt like too serious of a question before she spun back to the finger foods at the table near them. "What's your favorite so far?" She quickly changed the topic, picking up a small bun.
Tifa only nodded at his response; she hadn't meant to say the thought aloud. At least, who heard it seemed to be gentlemanly enough. She hadn't been to many weddings, but she read of them often in books and believed that romance thrived in an environment like this. Her date had gotten lost somewhere outside the reception, but she figured they'd make their way back eventually.
It was a smaller wedding, and the monk hadn't known the couple that well. She had seen them around town time and time again, but nothing more than shallow conversation in passing. She was surprised to have been invited in the first place, but seeing as other members of AVALANCHE were here, she wondered if they were involved in that business. She had spent a good chunk of the evening sipping at the bar, too shy to take to the dance floor alone. Yet, the decor, the words shared from the bridal party, the setting -- she still loved all of it.
She held her half finished drink with one hand as she turned to the man she now conversed with. Would it have been appropriate that she might've known the couple through AVALANCHE. Shaking her head -- probably not. "I've seen them around town here and there," she admitted loosely. "I'm just a plus one. They know the couple far better than I do."
"How do you know the couple?" She countered with a shy smile after taking another drink.

The slightest moan escaped the monk as his hand cascaded her skin. Her cheeks flushed as his hands explored and she felt him through his shorts. A hard swallow of nerves allowed her to take in the moment, the sensation as she leaned further into him, only lifting to allow him to remove any clothing. His words egged her on - she wasn't sure on the words to say in return, her mind so clouded by the moment. When the shirt came off, her lips started to explore his chest, muscles throughout as she slowly made her way down. But before moving downward, she gently nibbled the area by his collarbone.
Another quiet whine as his hand began to massage beneath her skirt. Tifa never expected to be in this position, much less with Biggs, but she wasn't going to turn it down for a moment. Something about him caused her body to heat, and his touch only invigorated her skin. She had made it all the way down to the rim of his pants buckle before her head lifted to his words. Offering a shy smile, she gently grinded against him but her cheeks were pink at his comment. "I've never thought about it on the counter," she bashfully admitted. The bar was a place of work for her, but what was the harm in mixing work and pleasure just this one?
She only wanted to be ravished by him, leaning even further into him as she lifted a leg, straddling him even before getting on the bar top. Another whine left her as she could feel him through his shorts. A soft, ruby gaze met him, scaling his body before matching his gaze one more time. How was she supposed to word the things she wanted him to do to her? It felt like she wanted to consume him, take in every piece, every inch. "Biggs~" she whimpered, nails digging into the bare skin she could reach.
@mamoritxi - (continuing from @makoenergie-archive)
It was all so quick; the grip on her hips allowed her to sink into him even more. There was something about his touch; something firm, sturdy, reliable. It wasn't often that Tifa shared an embrace with those around her, much less someone she could've gotten to know better at this point. The hair on her arms stood on end, her adrenaline stepping in. With each touch, she felt herself become more heated, flushing as his hands explored -- the most subtle whine coming from her as he moved to her breasts.
What difference did it make, bed or right where they were. The bar was her home just as much as anywhere else. The slums had taken her in as their own; AVALNCHE, even more. It was a mix of gratitude and attraction towards him, and she was well aware of their mission the next day. There was no one but the two of them in this moment, and she wanted to cherish each moment. With that thought, she was careful of his wounds as she delicately pressed him against the bar.
Tifa felt her heart continue to race as she kissed into his neck, no words needed to agree with his request. She couldn't help but wonder why, but that wasn't as important for the time being. Especially when someone like Jessie was so close to him; her positivity and energy were opposite from her - but Biggs - Biggs was the rock that supported their efforts. The monk relied on him more than she'd admit, but definitely recognized it.
The warmth of his skin against her lips was something she hadn't thought of but it comforted her. She sank further into him, pushing against him as much as she could. "Biggs~" she cooed as her lips inched their way to his collar bone this time.

Her brow perked at his compliment; Tifa had run 7th Heaven for some time and his deduction was correct - She could point him in the direction of most things. She shook her head at his concern, she was happy to help someone who needed it. Head tilted as she thought for an answer to his questions.
"There's a building across the way; a woman named Marle will be able to help you with a place to stay." Tifa recalled when she needed the same - Marle offered a roof over her head and was nothing but kind to her. She was grateful for it and now it felt time to pay back the kindness. "For the job," she tapped her nails on the wooden bartop before looking around. "You can help me at the bar. Under the table works for me."
She offered the man a small smile. "ShinRa..." She chose her words carefully, speaking slow. "Not everyone down here is a fan of them. They patrol here from time to time, but usually just mind their business if they come in for a drink."
Tifa understood the culture shock. It was certainly a similar experience when she had woken up in Midgar; truly a place like no other. She was fortunate to be able to adapt properly, but knew that wasn't the case for most. Nodding along with his sentiment, she could only offer a smile. Hopefully, she could allow him a small sense of comfort in the meantime.
His expression with the sweeter drink; it was one she saw often when people wanted something that wasn't quite so strong. It looked like he enjoyed it for what it was.
His comments on life so far - it almost made her sad. She knew of many people who had a hard time, especially as of late. At one point, she agreed; living with that anxiety over your shoulder at all times was truly exhausting. Then, her brow perked at his last statement.
"The slums is a perfect place to hide," she assured, her tone trying to be positive. "A lot of people come here to hide, escape, but a lot of them never really find the solution they're looking for."
""I hope," she started, trying to find the words. She could relate; building a home from nothing was hard. Especially in a place you don't know. But all good things take time. "I hope you can at least find a home here."
"This place is far from perfect, but it offers the things you need, when you need it most. This bar has become that for me and I want anyone who comes in these doors to feel that too."

He had her figured out quickly; it was true that she wouldn't know where to go from here. Martha's Rest reminded her of a hint of home - a place that would welcome all, give them a meal and a place to stay, even to the folks that others didn't believe. When they sat down, she was taken back by his offer for lunch, though grateful to be able to take up his offer. Her stomach growled loudly when they sat at their table, harshly reminding her that it really had been a while since she had eaten.
Rosaria, Northreach, Dhalamil - all places she was unfamiliar with by name. She only hoped that Cloud was somewhere safe, as fortunate as she had been, and even greeted with the kindness of Margrace. Her thoughts only stopped racing as the food was placed before them, and she quickly began to eat.
"So, what brought you here?" She dared to cautiously ask. Margrace seemed familiar with the area, not too far from his element. But whatever Tifa could find out - if he was from this world or not - would still prove helpful. Though, it seemed he was familiar with much more than the average passerby.
The monk didn't plan to stay overnight at Martha's, but her body sat heavily in her seat. Ignoring tired muscles, she cleared her throat between bites of food. "Where could I get a map?" She asked though the bags under her eyes proved her fatigue. The sooner she could get a move on, the sooner she hoped she could find Cloud.
When she could see his expression shift, her hopes took a small dive before her head lifted back to him. As disappointing as it was that he had never heard of the home, it almost confirmed that she was sent somewhere far. Amongst the travel she had done with the group, Tifa became familiar with many places, or even heard the names. Where she was now though, not a clue to the map if she had to point to it.
His suggestion was her best bet, the monk wouldn't know if the eyes of the village had ears as well and who was listening amongst them. When he pointed it out, she stayed close as she followed him. She shook her head at his apologies, he had nothing to apologize for. With a deep breath, it wasn't until he asked, that her stomach began to rumble.
"Some food... Would be nice." She replied, holding her stomach as if she could hide the sound. He had a solid point, it had been a while since she had the time for a full, true meal. She only hoped the inn would have food ready to go.
"Margrace," she caught his attention as she walked alongside him. "Thank you." Unsure of how to address the gratitude. He was the first person to acknowledge her since waking in this world, and it was great luck that he was kind. Finding Cloud again would prove a challenge in itself, but anyone willing to assist would be an improved asset to to the search.
"Where would someone go," she questioned, trying to find the correct words. "If they're new to the area?" Perhaps a broad question, but if he could give a name of a town, it would be a better starting point. Maybe Cloud was sent there as well.

starter for @estarion
The ancient forest was a place Tifa had only heard rumors of; treading the ground only brought back memories she had buried deep. She hummed to herself to soothe the worry. Separated from the rest of the party, her gaze lifted; all the trees mirrored each other. Thoughts plagued her, hoping her friends were okay, but it wasn't long before she realized she was walking in circles.
She was lost.
