                     clary would be lying if she said she wasnt a little worried about going through the portals. but being with jace while doing it ease the dread a little bit. clary hated going through portals a little bit, only because they could suck the breath out of you for a few minutes. but as they started going through it clary held on to him tightly not wanting to get separated from him.

Jace looked over at Clary and smiled, already knowing she wasn’t fully used to portals yet. He’d been through so many that they didn’t bother him much, but he remembered what it was like before. Having to stop and catch his breath before he could continue on with whatever he needed to do on the other side of the portal. Jace tightened his grip on her hand slightly as they stepped into the portal. He didn’t like the idea of a portal that Clary or Magnus didn’t create, but this could be their only chance to get home, and if they made it to New York and Clary got to see Luke, it would be worth the risk.

              clary was nervous about going through the portal. what if they go through one and something really bad happens. ‘ maybe once we go through one i can use the portal rune to get us back to new york. ‘ clary said thinking about it out loud. using her freehand to feel in her pocket for the steele her mother had given to her on her birthday before she had found out about being a shadowhunter. clary couldnt help the smile the raise across her features when he pulled her hand up to kiss it before nodding letting him lead the way through it. 

Jace looked at her and smiled softly, nodding his head. “It’s worth a shot if we go through the wrong one. What’s the worst that can happen?” He smiled softly and looked at the portal in front of them before he looked back over at her. He kissed her cheek quickly before leading them through the portal, keeping ahold of her hand so he didn’t lose her somewhere between London and wherever this portal took them. The last thing he wanted was to be separated from his wife, when he already didn’t know where they were heading.

               clary got super excited when she heard about the portals. sure there was risks but the idea that should could actually see luke again gave her hope. since her and jace got engaged and married all she had been able to think about was if luke would be happy or what he would do when she asked him to walk her down the aisle. he was really the only parental figure she had left so his approval meant so much too her. but she pushed it past her head and just kept telling herself she would see him in just a few hours. so when her and jace reached a portal clary turned to him with a smile sticking her hand out for him to take it. ‘ you ready? ‘ // @fckjaceh

Jace knew that a lot of things could go wrong with portal travel, and he definitely didn’t trust the ones that had randomly opened in the park. But, then again, he’d always been one to throw caution to the wind and run straight into any dangerous situation, so there he was, in front of one with Clary. He could only pray to the Angels that they were about to walk through the right one, and go back home to New York. He knew how much it meant to her, and how much she missed Luke. Seeing that she was now his wife, what was important to her, was important to him, and he’d do anything to keep her happy. Including walk through a portal that was unlike the ones they were used to. “Seeing as these have specific destinations, I don’t think we have any control on where they take us, but maybe if we use them like we use ours, we can end up in New York, even if we go through the wrong one.” He said, taking her hand. Bringing her hand up to his lips, he kissed her knuckles lightly before smiling. “Let’s do this.”

I’m literally drowning in homework from my class where they basically take people with very little medical knowledge and put them through a 12 week class/residency program and expect us to hold patient rooms on our own with little/no help from nurses. Which is why I’ve sucked a lot more than normal, but I’m gonna do my best to make time to get on Jace & Beck, even if it means losing more sleep. That being said... If anyone wants to plot with either Jace or Beck, feel free to send me a message. Againnnn, sorry I suck my loves. But, I’m ready to get Beckett and Jace back up and running. ❤︎

           she loves wedding, especially the one of her brother and her almost sister because she really considers clary was her sister and she was happy that, well, that she was making jace happy, that’s always the most important thing. now she was helping clary to get ready for the ceremony “and there it is” she said, when finally isabelle was able to fix some things and the veil and all of that “you look really beautiful” simple to her taste she doesn’t like things simple but then again, clary was all natural and maybe it was simple but it was beautiful and she was glad that she was able to help with all of this “i’m so excited. are you nervous about this?” they needed to get out of here in like five minutes so the ceremy can start.

there wasn’t anything huge planned, after the wedding they were gonna go to a restaurant or something. clary had been nervous to tell her friends because she didn’t know if they would say that her and jace where rushing into things. but thankfully that wasn’t the case and it made her beyond happy. she knew that she wasn’t going to find anyone better for her then jace. clary couldn’t help the smile that pulled across her face when isabelle finished putting veil in clary’s hair. which just made her realize that it was actually happening soon. looking in the mirror clary took in her appearance. ’ thank you iz. ’ clary let out in somewhat of a shocked tone that it was actually happening. when isabelle asked if she was nervous clary turned around to look at her. ’ uh yeah a little bit. ’ // @fckjaceh

When Magnus stepped in to fix his tie, Jace smiled at the Warlock, truly thankful for the help. He usually relied on Izzy for help with things like this, but since she was off helping Clary, he’d been left to attempt it on his own, and obviously failed. “Thanks Magnus.” He said before turning to his brother with a small smile. “I’m okay. Or at least I’m not having any second thoughts or anything. I’m just worried I’m gonna mess it all up. Maybe not today, but eventually, y’know. You know how good I am at messing things up.” He shrugged, running his fingers through his hair out of habit. Thankfully, he was able to quickly tame his hair back down to lay neatly due to having taken the time to actually fix it earlier. He took a moment to look at his Parabatai, happy to have him here, and happy that Magnus had finally showed up. He’d missed seeing Alec happy, and it was nice to feel the happiness he felt reflected back through their bond now that they both had the one they loved by their side. “I’m glad you guys are here, and while I can’t wait to have our big wedding at home, I can almost guarantee that I’ll be a mess before that one. If I’m nervous now, I can only imagine what it’s like to do this in front of everyone.” He took one last look at himself in the mirror before glancing around the room then at Alec, Magnus and Simon. “Come on, I don’t know much about mundane weddings, but I don’t think the groom is supposed to be late.”

            clary couldnt believe this day was happening if she was honest. she didnt think this would happen for her. not with everyone let alone jace. but she couldnt be more happier, it may just be the group of them and the fact her mother or luke werent here makes her a little bit sad. clary knew if her mother was alive she would be just as happy for her and she knew luke was gonna get to walk her down to aisle when they got back to new york. but they were still getting married even if it wasnt the way shadowhunters did it, it was the way clary grew up watching how weddings where done so it did mean something to her. clary decided that she would get a simple dress for this ceremony and wait for the nicer one for the once they get back and have the actual wedding. clary was happy she had isbelle helping her because if she was honest she would have had been a wreck without her and simon around the last few days.

If you’d asked Jace a year ago, what his life would be like, he never would have described the one he was currently living. The person he was then didn’t even exist anymore. He wasn’t Jace Wayland anymore. He was Jace Herondale, and he was getting married. After everything that had happened in his life, and in the last few months, he was finally in a place where he could be proud of the man he was, and he couldn’t imagine a better way to finish out his life than to be Clary’s husband. Despite not knowing much about mundane weddings, he knew that Clary grew up around them so, he was more than happy to get all dressed up in what he considered a monkey suit twice and have both a mundane and a Shadowhunter wedding. As long as he got to call her his wife, he didn’t care what he had to wear. Now that Izzy, Simon, and Magnus were all in London with them, it seemed like the perfect time to get married. Sure, he wished that everyone could be there for both ceremonies, but he had two of his siblings there, and they were the most important people in his life, other than Clary, so he was happy. Looking himself over in the mirror, he straightened his tie for the hundredth before turning to his brother, a small smile on his face. “Alec, is the damn thing straight yet?” He questioned, wanting everything to be perfect.

          clary couldn’t help the laugh slipped past her lips, “ you annoy me  now too but I don’t mind it to much. ” clary said, she couldn’t help but love when he kissed her head. “ good but we all know I’m not a little badass im a whole bunch of badass. ” she said giving him a pointed look. “ I think we can agree to disagree. ” clary said with a smile before kissing his cheek. “ hey since almost every one is here why don’t we get married at the little church this weekend? ”

Jace grinned at her. “That just means I’m doing my job, so you better just get used to it.” He teased, unable to keep the smile off his face. It was nice to have a normal, carefree conversation. Everything was starting to settle down and balance out. He wasn’t affected by his bond with Alec as much as he had been before, and with everyone else showing up, things were becoming a sort of normal for them. “I meant little based on your size, not on your level of badassness, babe. I’m well aware of how much of a badass you are.” He explained, a playful tone to his voice. “The sooner I get to call you my wife, the better. I would have married you the same day I asked you if you’d wanted to.”

           "i know, just like it didn’t meant anything with the seelies” because jace was more into seelies she realized, just like her but then again, the seelies now were enemies because of the queen so she prefers to just not bump into them again “at least a good thing came up from that, right? i’m happy for you, truly” the girl said with a small smile on her lips looking at her brother “good, i like that, i love weddings because i can buy a new dress, you know how much i love shopping”

“It’s never meant anything with anyone. Mundane, Seelie, Vampire, Werewolf, Shadowhunter. I tried it all. Clary’s the only one that means anything.” He shrugged. He’d definitely made his rounds before he ever met Clary, and he’d been with plenty since they’d met her. After all, he had spent a lot of time at ‘book club’ with the seelies. “Thanks, Iz. Knowing you and Alec are okay with it makes all the difference in the world.” He rolled his eyes slightly when she mentioned shopping. “Don’t worry, Iz. I’m sure you’ll be pulled in to help with all of it. You’re pretty much the only one of us that really enjoys shopping.”

                 ‘ eh sometimes. ‘ clary said biting back a laugh. ‘ trust me i know you can inflate your own ego. ive sen it happen more then once. ‘  clary put her hand on his chest and put her head on top of her hand so she could look at him. ‘ i think i can put up with you annoying me, i’ll tell you what i really think about it in ten years. ‘ she said jokingly. ‘ am i not aloud to have an ego once in a while. ‘ she stated in a matter of fact kinda way. ‘ see i was under the impression it was the other way around. ‘ clary said wiggling her eyebrow at him with the smile still present on her face. 

Jace rolled his eyes playfully, sticking his tongue out at her. “Sometimes you’re lucky you’re so cute. I’m sure in ten years, you’ll want to smack my head against a wall, but that just means I’m doing my job right. Pretty the first thing in my job description is to annoy you and drive you crazy.” He teased before kissing her forehead lightly. “You can have an ego whenever you want to. I find it attractive when a girl knows that she’s a little badass and can admit it.” He smirked before shaking his head at her statement. “It’s most definitely not the other way around. I may be a very close second, but you still have me beat.”

          “oh yeah, she told me that, nothing serious” yeah, of course but it didn’t surprise her about maia and jace so it didn’t matter, maia was a nice girl and to her she needed to find someone nice as well “well, congratulations, i’m glad you two worked things out and i’m glad i wasn’t here for that serum because my truth are not ready to be out yet” especially not with simon here, a small smile was on her lips “so when we get back, are you going to do a shadowhunter ceremony?”

“Not at all. Clary was with Simon, and I had something to prove. Or at least try to prove. It didn’t mean anything.” He shrugged his shoulders. Most of the time, he almost forgot he ever slept with Maia, it seemed like so long ago. “Thank you, and it wasn’t really that bad. I avoided pretty much everyone, except Clary. I even tried to avoid her, but we lived together even then, so it didn’t work out too well. When we get home we will. It’s just kind of hard to find a Silent Brother to do the ceremony around here, plus, I know Clary wants Luke to be there, so we’ll probably have one here, then one when we get home, unless we get to go home soon.”
