Imagine you work at some fucking roadside diner in buttfuck nowhere and you have to wait a table with three dudes who aren't from around here and the guy with the long hair immediately pulls out his laptop with what looks like cult shit in the web browser and asks for your worst salad option, and the guy in the trenchcoat sniffs the pepper shaker and declares the molecules to be very sharp and the guy with the greenest eyes you've ever seen calls you sweetheart and then proceeds to engage with intimate eye contact with trenchcoat to a degree that is downright indecent and then orders the heart attack special on your menu and every time you walk past their table they're talking about that gruesome murder that happened in town and the pretty guy is feeding the trenchcoat guy fries while the hair guy talks about desecrating corpses

So, my sister is having surgery today, and as I’m pacing through the hallway, I find this.

Am I the only one who believes that Castiel looked like his female vessel when he rescued Dean from Hell? I’ve always assumed that angels appear in the shape of their most recent vessels when they encounter human souls in Heaven or Hell. Hannah’s appearance in Heaven changed after she switched from her female vessel to her male one, after all. And Castiel implies that he took Jimmy as his vessel only AFTER he brought Dean back, because he used finding a vessel as his excuse when Dean asks why Castiel didn’t appear to him sooner. According to Cas, the last time he was on earth was in 1901, when he was serving under Ishim.

SO… I like to think that Dean thought he was being dragged out of Hell by a beautiful, strong, no-nonesense woman, and I like to think that he was super into it. I like to think that he got flirty, and cheeky, and hit on Castiel at every turn, as if Cas were a hot lady cop taking him in. But Cas had no idea what was going on. And when they see each other again later, Cas stands so awkwardly close to Dean because Dean had made all sorts of excuses to get close to him in Hell, with that “I really wanna kiss you” look on his face, and so Cas thought that was just normal for humans.
